Skeezix Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 I wager he announces his resignation next Tuesday, May 3rd. Quote
Fairweather Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 He won't. Especially now that the ethics commission is back in business and as many as sixty Democrats (including Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid) and fellow Republicans are guilty of exactly the same thing. One more thing: The only reason that your buddy, Jim McDermott, hasn't been exiled from the House for his ethical/legal lapses re that famous illegal taping incident, is precisely because the ethics commission has been inactive. Note to Democrats: Be careful what you wish for! Quote
Skeezix Posted April 28, 2005 Author Posted April 28, 2005 OK Fairweather's out. Anybody want Monday? Quote
Dr_Flash_Amazing Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 OK Fairweather's out. Anybody want Monday? Fuck the betting pool. How 'bout a collection for the cocksucker's retirement fund/get the hell out of office bribe? Here's to a Republican scumfucker going down in F-L-A-M-E-S! Burn, motherfucker, burn! Quote
olyclimber Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 He won't. Especially now that the ethics commission is back in business and as many as sixty Democrats (including Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid) and fellow Republicans are guilty of exactly the same thing. Fine, I say, clean house. Quote
ChrisT Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 DeLay is the worst - absolute worst . Where does he get off wanting to impeach judges because they didn't rule the way he wanted. Delay's run amok IMO Go back to exterminating Texas Quote
AlpineK Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 http://www.nlpc.org/pelosi.asp Clearly you don't understand the theory of the feeding frenzy. The sharks smell Delay's blood in the water. Maybe Nancy P will be next; I don't know. Quote
Skeezix Posted April 28, 2005 Author Posted April 28, 2005 How 'bout a collection for the cocksucker's retirement fund/get the hell out of office bribe? Not necessary. He'll go on the lecture circuit with Slade "Skeletor" Gorton. Quote

Maybe Nancy P will be next; I don't know. ...and exactly who are these sharks you're talking about? The Liberal Media perhaps? If it were not for FOX and other non-mainstream outlets, few would know how common these ethical lapses are...on BOTH sides. But I suppose you're only interested in drinking the media shark-fed KoolAid tonight. Quote
Skeezix Posted April 28, 2005 Author Posted April 28, 2005 But I suppose you're only interested in drinking the media shark-fed KoolAid tonight. They found receipts for Delay's kool-aid on lobbyist's credit card vouchers. Quote

thatguy Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Unfortunately I think he'll stay. Until maybe his next election run. But what this does, Delay, Bolton, Necroponte et al, is show what fucks the guys are. Quote
AlpineK Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 ...and exactly who are these sharks you're talking about? The Liberal Media perhaps? You just love those buzwords. Do you drop your pants and bend over when the Rush Limbagh show starts? The media sure picked on Clinton; if they were a liberal media don't you think they would have tried to change the subject? Face it the media likes any train wreck involving powerful people. Quote
rbw1966 Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 If it were not for FOX and other non-mainstream outlets . . . FOX is soooooo alternative. Clean out all those unethical bastards, regardless of party affiliation. Quote
Ducknut Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 It won't be soon enough, I'll take the May 7th. Quote
archenemy Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 The planetary alignment with Uranus says May 9th. So I'll take it Quote

Fine, I say, clean house. Fuckin A, I agree with Oly. Who gives a rat fuck if they're Demo/Repub, Lib/Conservative, Fuck 'em all. If they're getting rich by fleecing us and accepting kickbacks, run em out of town on a rail. Isn't that the point of the ETHICS commitee? I haven't read anywhere that it's called the "Investigate Republicans Only Ethics Commitee" or the "Liberals" Are Exempt Ethics Commitee", it's the ETHICS COMMITEE. Investigate everyone that's done fucked up shit, and send them packing. Quote
