chirp Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 At the Mass Transit Wall on the Kolob terrace in Zion in the late 90's. I was in charge of protecting the goods. Some of the goods...100' thin hands and tips corner... Quote
Pandora Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Is it me or do you look like a Catholic priest missing his neck collar? And where are your hands?? Quote
Distel32 Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 one hand is clenched tight on her ass.......the other is in my pocket taking care of other things......bwahahaha Quote
Billygoat Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Re-racking eh?! You look like Harry Potter's dad. Where is that picture taken, Virginia? Quote
selkirk Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 What can I say, the photographer was all thumbs, and big toes! Quote
BreezyD Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 I think this one from this weekend takes the cake in capturing my sheer unattractiveness. Taken of me, by me, at 10:00 p.m. in the tent at Muir on summit night when I couldn't sleep. Can you say bored? And what is with the size of my nose? Some sort of altitude-related edema? Blech. Quote
willstrickland Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Big nose = lens. You need approx. a 100mm lens to give your face proper depth proportions. Otherwise your nose will look big (wider angle lens) or flat (telephoto). That's why "portrait" lens are typically in the 95-110mm range. You can also simulate the "soft focus" filter effect often seen in portraits by stretching a section of ladies' hose taut over the lens. Quote
BreezyD Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Does that mean my cheeks aren't actually that chubby either? Quote
rbw1966 Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 My personal worst: My modeling career was brief but oh so green. Quote
EWolfe Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Rob, that picture is TERRIBLE! You look SO baked! Bwahahahaha! Quote
rbw1966 Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 No small wonder that it took us almost an hour to find the base of the route. Quote
catbirdseat Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 I've got one of me that will win this contest, if I can only find it. It was a self portrait taken at arms length at the summit of Bald Mountain. Looks like a spent a Night on Bald Mountain. I was even wearing a (GASP) Seattle Sombrero. The flash reflected off my tongue for a weird effect. Quote
