Alpinfox Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 OK. I'll handle not hiring the sherpas and arranging for the oxygen bottles to not be delivered to Katmandu. Â Maybe we can get Annabelle to join our expedition! Â I'm happy to report that GregW and the rest of the "No Pay, No Climb" team are making dramatic progress towards our goal. No sherpas have been hired, and no oxygen has been procured! In fact, things have been going so well that we have not even heard from our esteemed leader, Mr. W, in months! Â The one setback has been our failure to recruit Annabelle Bond to the team. We still hope that she may change her mind and join us at the last minute, but we are now recruiting substitute hotties. Please send climbing resume and several glossy 8X10s (include swimsuit shot please) to: Â No Pay, No Climb Expedition 2005 6053 30th Avenue NE Seattle, WA 98115. Â Quote

Dru Posted January 28, 2005 Posted January 28, 2005 The Pay to Climb companies probably don't want climbers to be informed about how easy this is! Â i think the Pay To climb companies are laughing their asses of like the rest of us. Quote
billcoe Posted May 8, 2005 Posted May 8, 2005 Well-it's 2005, time to get the expedition on the move. Quote
Cobra_Commander Posted May 8, 2005 Posted May 8, 2005 Good afternoon gentleman! Â problem with 8000m climbing partner is all the yelling involved. Ears are like, way up there! Â p.s. I speak to you from darkest burkshard. good day. Quote
Stefan Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 Well, actually the season should be coming to an apex right now shouldn't it? Â Where is the webpage showing the progress? Â Who is the team? Quote
matt_warfield Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 Perhaps they got turned back surmounting the burkshard on the Diamond of Longs Peak during an accludimization/training run on a route which, when researched, is only Class 5 and therefore not much more difficult than nearby Class 4 routes. Â I hadn't seen this thread when it first came up- it's priceless. Quote
sobo Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 Bump! Â Wel-l-l-l-l-l-l-l, it's been about a year since we were last graced by 007's presence and his N.P.T.N.C.C.O.E. '05 trip. Â So 007, didya make it? Quote
Crampon Posted August 13, 2005 Posted August 13, 2005 So when do we rope up 007.....I am free all week, and you will find that my credentials merit a place on your team as a specialist.
