Saturday - jonthomp and I went mountain biking at Fort Ebey State Park. Awsome trails with great switch backs in and out of the kettles. If you haven't been there yet you should go. We rode till we couldn't for a total of 16 miles. Sunday - Lunch with grandma and then Folklife. Great music and sunshine. Monday - 55 mile roaad ride. Verry little trafiic today. badvoodoo Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 Sat/Sun: Smith Mon: Working around the house and a motorcycle ride on the backroads. Roads were NOT empty. Quote
griz Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 Hmmm...rafted 53 miles on the Yampa River out past Steamboat on Sat and Sunday. Good and remote canyons and just a few other floaters out. Nice stuff. Good 30 mile bike ride today... now I need to go back to work in the AM so I can rest up for the next weekend... No climbing sadly enough. Quote
StickBoy Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 Was going to climb Mount Stuart (Ulrich's Couloir) but wasn't sure the avy conditions were ideal so I went climbing at Tieton and bought a new house. Pretty non-eventful. Quote
scott_harpell Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 I hit up the hatch on wallace lake today and brought back my limit all on dries. Two beatifull cutties 14 & 17 inches. only took me 25 minutes to limit out... kinda depressing after spending so much energy hiking in and then hiking out, but I ain't complaining! Quote
AlpinistAndrew Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 Went rock climbing at Peshastin Pinnacles. Climbed some fun routes. I was planning on climbing the NBC of Colchuck, but the weather looked so crappy in that direction, so my climbing partner and I drove over to vantage and did some more sport climbing. Great weather on the East side. Fun weekend. Quote
foraker Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 Drove to Squamish, got in some climbs on Saturday. Sat around watching the rain come down on Sunday. Went to Whistler just to go do something and shook our heads in amazement at the people going snowboarding in the rain. Finally bailed and came back home. Quote

Bill_Simpkins Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 Hung out Saturday. Leavenworth Sunday and Monday. Quote
lancegranite Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 We spent the weekend snorkeling at Lake Mead. Nice temps (101) and the water was a warm 76 degerees. You know,...climbing kinda sucks compared to lazing about, chasing fish and finding so many old beer cans. Quote
Dave_Schuldt Posted June 1, 2004 Author Posted June 1, 2004 Don't forget about Cedar Halow. There is some new trail over in the SW corner of the park, Quote
Pandora Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 Bailed after hiking in to Stuart and spent the weekend bouldering with NOLSe, cracked, and Mackadocious. We ran into MisterE, Alpinfox, and Distel32 doing the same. I also ate nearly an entire carton of Tagalongs ice cream! Fun weekend with the boyz, even if we were sorely lacking in motivation. Quote
fleblebleb Posted June 1, 2004 Posted June 1, 2004 I skied... 2 inches of fresh on a firm base, good times Quote
