    Exit Polls

You get great guides from AAI
  3. As said elsewhere "the states that vote for Bush are the states where a boy gets circumcised by kicking his sister in the jaw"
  4. Why wouldn't a block test be possible? Cut block, jump. Analyze results. With the melt/freeze cycle we're going to see shortly things are perfect for slides.
  5. They should be good till March/April, after that's when they get the big spring runoff. I'm planning on a trip Is it this article you were thinking of?
  6. I took this pic back in May, Hite "Marina" is upper left. I can only imagine what it would look like now I'd bet a case of beer Ed would be overjoyed to see the Dam go. Hayduke definitely would
  7. Post an add online at www.spinsheet.com - you'll get a ton of responses for people looking for crew.
  8. They did. Cheney has 2 DUI's to his credit. Real Winners
  9. The Argentine's seem to consider Bariloche/Rio Negro, Patagonia The Navimag's gone upscale in the past several years it seems.
  10. Why so long? I thought you had the ne plus ultra climbing library?
  11. Interestingly that's what BD's done with the precut skins this year.
  12. That's what I was trying to get at - the STS tail system works better than the Clipfix tail. Both work better with modern skis than the old Euro Rubber tip. I have Glidelite's (Bovine print) and Ascensions (Barney), overall I give the edge to Barney for skin quality. The purples seam to strech less, little better grip, better glide, you can redo the adhesive (big plus!), etc.
  13. Ski brakes are nice to have. If you need a pair of the Standard width for Fritschi's I can sell you some cheap. Ski crampons can be useful they aren't a requirement; the fritschi crampons are a bit flimsy. The Sk'alp ski crampons are very cool but $. Purple Love Ascensions I'm not terribly sold on the Clipfix, the G3 style tail works better for me.
  14. Yeah I saw your picture NOLSe - am expecting it to be a bit warmer. If it's not I'm heading wine tasting. Thanks for the transport advice Dylan, taking the plane from BUE. rented a car, going to cruise around on kidney busting gravel.
  15. One of the other properties was 60k acres next to Paine
  16. Macpac Pursuit
  17. Not bad, but look here for what a consortium could get you .... a private glacier? www.patagonialc.com
  18. Bump, for good beta, and 'cuz I'm down that way for 2 weeks starting not soon enough. Q: Lake district volcanoes(esp. Chile - Villarica, Tronador) - if one of your party is a member of an alpine club w/experience is that good enough for a permit?)
  19. Ummm... in 1972 Richard Nixon won 49 states. He was probably referring to when Nixon resigned rather than be thrown out on his ass.
  20. I'm no expert but JayB's usage seems to be common - chains on the uphill end of the vehicle. I assume this is because with less weight on it that end will have less traction and be more likely to break free; when one end goes the next will follow.
  21. The Ratchet Attachment system like that on the Diamond Heavy Duty
  22. You've never tried a Soloist w/a 10.5mm/11mm rope. They don't self feed. Smaller is better.
