Technical Sales or General Sales? Monster is big and broad, there's alot of chaff(whether your looking for an applicant or a job). There are a number of local job site services (like regionalhelpwanted.com), and professional association job sites that are more narrowly tailored to your needs. If you don't want your organisation to know be careful how you phrase and post the position - your current staff will probably find out.

I just finished "system of the world" Decidely not worth it. Someone needs to hire Stephenson an editor.

Olympic park traverse, Hurricane-Olympus-Hoh-Ruby
cj001f replied to tradkelly's topic in Olympic Peninsula
Realize how little traffic the Olympics get. With the exception of Olympus and a scattered few other peaks most see a handful of ascents a year. Couple that with high precepitation and you have "offtrail" that is more untracked than most other places. It's not "running" terrain. The descent to Hoh will probably be the easiest alpine portion of your trip; it sees regular traffic. Also realize that the center of ONP is more remote than just about any other place in the lower 48. If you get hurt, wuss out, whatever your f'ed. -
After reading several of the stories I'd say "dumb ass". repeated badluck isn't luck. Short Stories of Ernest Hemingway (Cross Country Snow ) The Masaryk Case The Mountain World (random volumes) The Jewel in the Crown

Will Strickland. Once a calm voice of reason and balance in an sea of cc.com angst. His dark journey to the angry left is almost complete. The Angry Left? Or someone who desires a return to "conservatism" and government with a small g?

Work camera has a Lexar; doesn't support them Was curious about DSLR support. Now it's on the list

No wonder our Oceans are F'ed. A drift net is considered "a little fishin'"

Did you get high write speed flash (like Lexar Pro)? If you did, does it work as claimed? Tried a Microdrive yet?

Buy a pair of AT Bindings. Mount them on AT/Downhill skis (whichever's affordable- for some manufacturers there's almost zero difference between the 2). Use your existing downhill boots. At a later date you can change over to AT boots quite easily. BTW: Telemark is Norwegian for "Wait for me"

Dru - the NYSE is owned by the banks and traders who do business on it. They can pay the head of the NYSE however much they damn well please - and they paid him well because the NYSE did extraordinarily well for them under Dick Grasso.
-
To be a UIAGM guide you have to ski. They two aren't mutually exclusive.

The Jetboil canisters I've seen in the store appeared to have exactly (or extraordinarily similar) the same dimensions as say an MSR stove. I don't own a JetBoil so can't speak from experience.

Pogue Colonel : Marine, what is that button on your body armor? Private Joker : A peace symbol, sir. Pogue Colonel : Where'd you get it? Private Joker : I don't remember, sir. Pogue Colonel : What is that you've got written on your helmet? Private Joker : "Born to Kill", sir. Pogue Colonel : You write "Born to Kill" on your helmet and you wear a peace button. What's that supposed to be, some kind of sick joke? Private Joker : No, sir. Pogue Colonel : You'd better get your head and your ass wired together, or I will take a giant shit on you. Private Joker : Yes, sir. Pogue Colonel : Now answer my question or you'll be standing tall before the man. Private Joker : I think I was trying to suggest something about the duality of man, sir. Pogue Colonel : The what? Private Joker : The duality of man. The Jungian thing, sir. Pogue Colonel : Whose side are you on, son? Private Joker : Our side, sir. Pogue Colonel : Don't you love your country? Private Joker : Yes, sir. Pogue Colonel : Then how about getting with the program? Why don't you jump on the team and come on in for the big win? Private Joker : Yes, sir. Pogue Colonel : Son, all I've ever asked of my marines is that they obey my orders as they would the word of God. We are here to help the Vietnamese, because inside every gook there is an American trying to get out. It's a hardball world, son. We've gotta keep our heads until this peace craze blows over. Private Joker : Aye-aye, sir.

That's all well and good(and I knew someone would nitpick) Getting down to brass tacks, VW TDI's weren't/aren't California (or any of the other CARB states) emissions compliant, so someone else thinks they pollute more. Buy a Honda Accord Wagon. Run's for ever, good fuel economy. Isn't as "climber" as a subaru though.
-
Diesels always have higher particulates than gas engines. The Passat TDI is being rereleased. It ain't a cheap car anymore (friend's Passat wagon feels like an Audi) - bit to posh for a "climber's car". Most late model used VW TDI's carry a (too high) premium IMHO.
