  1. I might make it on campus later today, and could check if we have it. Are you looking for both WA and Oregon?
  2. How true is the NPS ranger's being armed or not. The National Park I have spent the most time in is Denali, and it seemed pretty obvious that there were the rangers and then the "police" rangers. What is the breakdown on that ratio, is it different depending on the park? Parked next to a ranger vehicle complete with AR-15 and shotgun.
  3. Trying some orange ones and they feel like too much arch support in the back of my arch. I'm aiming to use them in some Nepals, but Superfeet mentions a long break in, should I be clomping around in my boots more, or wuddafuksup?
  4. Thanks for posting that, looks interesting.
  5. Got nailed by one at Erie around Jan 15th.
  6. Pretty sure he was at 144.3 km per hour. High 80's in mph.
  7. Jesus Bill, its hard to tell if you are on rock, or someone's lawn.
  8. Long story short I was at a party last weekend and a buddy dropped his camera in a keg cup of beer, pulled it out turned it on and put it under the faucet to get the beer off. It was an Olympus point and shoot of some type. Never seen something like that before, so didn't quite focus on the model, rather the "Holy shit, your camera is in my beer" moment.
  9. Is Meadows going to start pulling to use the Avylauncher above their permit area now?
  10. This was posted in another thread about Redpoint getting ripped off. Someone said that the green things are bottle openers. I think the post is in the Yard Sale.

    Polish Badass

Quite a bit larger than the other one as well.
  12. Does anyone know how well the ice has been holding together in Lillooet with the warm weather? I checked the conditions updates on West Coast Ice, but am kind of unsure what the weekend will be like.
  13. Fucking lame. Sorry for the sucker that ends up with those.
  14. They are all kind of separate, but if you dig through Dane's posts in the Gear Forum he has written something about most of La Sportiva's line.
  15. I might be wrong, but aren't you always recommended to use a front loader? Did the washer you used have one of those agitators in it?
  16. Whats the word on the Igniter Pants? They look comparable to the Mtn Hardwear Compressor Pant?
  17. That is a pretty awesome looking program. Good luck to you guys in finding someone.
  18. Letter to the editor is in the works. Fricken' great thing to read with the morning coffee. I bet Bors is congratulating himself for knowing more than PMR.
  19. Jeez Ivan, you could at least have the courtesy to pay for shipping to save the space-time continuum. Do we need to start a Paypal or something. Grant, way to be, that is awesome that you are looking for whose rack it is!
  20. Got to take a trip to Canmore, which was awesome, but am now coming to the realization that I am going to spend a lot more money on ice gear. The New Years Resolution of learning to ski is going to be bumped back a few years.
  21. How much higher is the cliff band from water level. Small amount or a couple of feet?
  22. Raindwag, what about fixed gear?
  23. 630 tonight at the PAC on Westerns campus. They are assigning seats this year, which is lame.
  24. I was poking around SuperTopo where they are currently going over the same thing. One person posted a link to David Archer a faculty member at the University of Chicago. One of the links is a series of video lectures of a class on global warming for non science majors. I haven't seen any of the videos, 56k doesn't quite hack it, but I had a class that used his textbook and was pretty impressed with it. If you have time to kill might want to check them out.
