  1. Cool offer. Hope someone that needs/really wants em gets em.
  2. http://www.supertopo.com/climbing/thread.php?topic_id=1181099&msg=1181099#msg1181099 Here is it in english.
  3. Jesus, that is a real picture, thought it was photoshopped. Looks like someone screwed the pooch on the stability report there. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/36782187/ns/weather/
  4. http://homepage.mac.com/inov8/Compass/msrimages.html Take a look through this. If you look on the homepage of the website it is possible they have more old MSR catalogs. Was this in that Craigslist posting with the hammer and old looking Joe Brown helmet?
  5. I'm pretty sure its a picture from K2. Spacing out meeting with an adviser the other month was made a lot more interesting with that picture. According to Wikipedia he is one of only 66 WWU students to receive the "Distinguished Alumni Award"
  6. Did it last year and it was passable. I believe that the officially unkept part is from Tilly Jane/Cloud Cap to about 4 miles north of the Elliot Glacier washout. All the unkept part means is that you have to duck under a tree every couple hundred yards. It is a little difficult crossing the Elliot. We traveled up the moraine about a mile, then crossed the base of the glacier above timberline. This did put us about even with the trail on the southern side of the Elliot. We were going clockwise. Send me a PM with more questions, I can send you an email with some better info if you need it.
  7. How about you stop PMSing or whatever the fuck is going on and chill out. Stop spraying on TRs.

    My weekend rant.

Is that a dirt thread and two axes hammered into dirt?!? Or is there ice in there?
  9. Sobo, smiles matter, just remember that. For all the shit you have gone though, keep these in your mind. Thanks for posting, remember the good parts.
  10. Try sending the guy an email, he posted this 2 years ago and probably does not follow cc.com.
  11. I'm free weekends, Mondays and Wednesdays, let me know if you are interested. It would be cool to get into a routine of this. John

    Scotland?

Its in English too. I just spent 25 minutes wishing I understood French.
  13. Sweet video. At first I thought someone miscounted bolts for that high step, then my jaw dropped with the second one. The commentary was great.
  14. Try contacting PSU, maybe they have an outdoor program. Oregon Mountain Community used to do rentals, maybe they still do.
  15. Dude, its the Oregon Cascades part of the forum and the OP specifically asked about North and Middle Sister. Found a Middle Sister on the ridge between North and South Sisters in WA?
  16. http://www.alpinist.com/doc/web10w/newswire-assassin-spire-cascades Nice job guys.
  17. Don't forget the nitro. Just got to wait for it to turn sunny to set it off.
  18. Rubber tubing. I forget the diameter, could check when I get home. Hell, it might even be some type of cut up bike tire. Edit: Make sure to take the tubing off and let the screws sit for a bit, because water will be stuck against the screw if you throw them in the tube wet, then let it sit in your closet for a couple weeks.
  19. How can I play in the active crater with a gas mask? Also I will pass this on to more artistically inclined people than myself.
  20. No luck, Skagit and Whatcom counties, but thats it.
  21. The hangover was victorious today and I didn't make it to school. I'm pretty sure that our LIDAR data is only Whatcom county(Bellingham) but its possible that more of Washington is covered. I will be there tomorrow around 10ish and can let you know for sure.
  22. I might make it on campus later today, and could check if we have it. Are you looking for both WA and Oregon?
  23. I'll snag that pack from you. PM'd about that.
  24. How true is the NPS ranger's being armed or not. The National Park I have spent the most time in is Denali, and it seemed pretty obvious that there were the rangers and then the "police" rangers. What is the breakdown on that ratio, is it different depending on the park? Parked next to a ranger vehicle complete with AR-15 and shotgun.
