  3. Mmhmmm, I love me some middle fork! good work
  4. nice guys! good to hear the road is not as bad as Clear Creek. Many might be redirected to Spring come Spring instead of the normal Dtown stuff.
  5. Sounds like a perfect day. For a variety of reasons it took 3 attempts for me on Winter Washington. Its beautiful this time of year.
  6. I always wondered about that route. Sounds interesting! Thanks for the story Ivan.
  7. it is as I feared. Anyone have a spare tonka trucks we could use?
  8. wow, that looks killer!
  9. clear creek pics look terrible
  10. drove by yesterday. Looks like most of those lines have melted out. Damn warm weather!
  11. sad, but I would be dumb to say I am surprised. Last year's mild Winter was a blessing for those Forest Roads, I assumed this Winter would ruin a lot of them. Work parties it is. Keep me in the loop come spring.
  12. lama? more like lame-a
  13. Keep doing what you do Type E.
  14. leading friction with no shirt? my nipples are quivering!
  15. probably a fox or coyote. Maybe, dare I say... a wolverine? http://www.fs.fed.us/pnw/news/2006/02/wolverine-radio.shtml
  16. try and exercise the opposite muscle group. In other words, if you spend all your time pulling and don't balance it out with pushing, something will give. I have seen many gym rats who do nothing but pull on plastic and they are always injured. Work your other muscles by being a well rounded athlete and don't ignore pains. climb lightly or not at all until the pain has gone.
  17. lovely! Days of Future Past looks stunning! I recognize those double ropes. They are sadly hanging in my closet waiting for a climbing day
  18. sounds like a great day out. I've been wanting to explore that area for a while now, thanks for the insight.
  19. As a very experienced alpinist once wrote about climbing in the mountains: "There are too many variables. Too many things that could go wrong. The alpine architect I've aspired to be doesn't exist. You can't control it all, it's too big: it's the earth." Love that quote
  20. are those photos of the south side of the stuart range?
  21. nothing quite like falling down a mountain side in skis right? Did that once this year and hope to avoid that mistake for the rest. Thanks for the laughs and good story.
