  1. The Office is great. Not a comedy, but a very clever and entertaining show is Keen Eddy. It didn't last long on TV, but I bought my hubby the DVD set for his birthday. The show is about an American police detective working in London who winds up sharing a flat with a young Sienna Miller.
  2. I'm looking forward to Heroes. Hopefully they can redeem themselves from the lame last minute alternate ending they did because of the strike.
  3. Expect to see some good "original" movies coming out in the next two years. A lot of TV writers finally could work on that movie screenplay idea they never had time to write due to production schedules.
  4. Ah, never heard it. But from what I remember of the two movies of his I've seen years ago, he is a neurotic writer.
  5. Nope. Just highly skilled individuals seeking compensation for work being delivered by new means/technology.
  6. Thanks for the suggestions! Running late as usual and trying to finish up packing. We still have a dance class and Crossfit Kids session to hit before driving up there tonight.
  7. I've been meaning to post. Thanks for the video, Sherri. I'd heard about the place, but didn't know that much about it. And Sobo, cool link, my kids keep asking me when can we go to the shelter and get a dog. We just watched my friend's dog for a the past 10 days and now the house seems a little empty.
  8. Thanks, Bug. I hadn't thought about that part. She just turned five last month so would need assistance with that.
  9. Hey, badvoodoo! :kisss: Love the pic you posted. How is life down under?
  10. The kids have a dance comp. at the Seattle Center this weekend. Anyone have any suggestions for a good restaurant or two in the lower Queen Anne neighborhood? Thanks!
  11. Thanks. I know right where this is, but have never been there. I'll call and see if they have ski wear.
  12. Here are some tips on how to do nothing and still get paid at work... YYgtUvgYi8U
  13. Any suggestions on where to find reasonably priced, quality ski wear for a 5 yo. Growth spurt time. She's now a size 6 (last year a 4) and I need to get something in the next two weeks. Oh, yeah, it has to have pink on it to match her skis, her boots, her goggles and her helmet. Anyone have experiences with one pieces? Do those work or not?

    climber jokes

I'm new to climbing so these were new to me. Thanks for the
  15. My question is why didn't he just turn over this stuff at the beginning. Still, ick!
  16. Yay Giants! My hubby is from NY. He was on his feet most of the fourth quarter. It was very cute.
  17. That sucks, CBS, but I'm glad you took the job in California! You can always keep looking for something back in Seattle. And we'll all be here whenever you miss the PNW! What's your timeline for heading down there?
  18. Feel better ILS! Listen to Muffy! Add honey and lemon to the tea. There's some really nasty stuff going around so take care of yourself. I was in the ER with my 9 yo on Tuesday night. She was having difficulty breathing. A local urgent care had diagnosed her with viral bronchitis that morning, but didn't prescribe her an inhaler. I called them back after talking with a couple of people who had experience with it, but they said all she needed was the Prednisone. Now my 7 yo is coming down with a similar cough. No skiing for us this weekend
  19. Did anyone go? How was it? A couple of sick kiddos kept me at home.
  20. This thread has been too quiet. 1JynBEX_kg8
  21. What a horrible situation to be in, CBS. Hugs and prayers. What will happen once COBRA ends if you don't take the job? I've heard of people who've been "terminal" for a long time so keeping treatment options open and affordable for your wife is important. As Trogdor posted, keeping health insurance seems to be key right now and you could always continue to look for a job back in WA.
