FWIW, you wouldn't be able to access many of these areas if not for roads built by logging and mining companies.

I am looking for advice on getting a trailer bike for my 4 years old. What have you all used and liked? I am currently looking at the Trek Mountain Train: http://www.trekbikes.com/us/en/collections/kids/models# I am looking for something light weight as we intend to do some touring with it. I have also looked at models from Canadian Tire and Mountain Equipment Co-op, but they have a number of negative reviews for being wobbly and unstable. Thanks

We are in Vancouver, Canada, so if you have any desire to come up to Squamish you have a partner and a place to crash in Vancouver. We'd be up for a trip to Leavenworth too. I have used this setup on ropes courses and descending rope ladders for caving. The one I used had two separate strands, instead of a single strand of rope and a pear biner instead of a quick link (steel ones when on ropes course). I have also heard this setup called "crab claws". I would not use this rock climbiing.

I'd be up for a family climbing trip any time. How old are your kids? I have a 4 year old who climbs everything in site, but haven't had him on belay yet. Would be great to connect with 1 or two other families for climbing trips, which gives lots of options for those that want to climb, belay or just hang out. I am in Vancouver, so a Squamish trup would be great, also open to Leavenworth, Smith...even JTree...
