  1. And that is how YOU roll. Thanks Mal_Con!
  2. This is great, but it stops at the Columbia. I primarily use my Topo! maps for both areas, but is there anyone at UO or OSU that has done something similar?
  3. I'll love her like that...and any number of other ways too!
  4. It seems like they're just trying to hop on board the TNF, Patagucci, Columbia Sportswear train. Localized flagship stores. They must do enough business to make it viable; however if I was a retailer carrying any of these brands I wouldn't be all that excited having yet another company to compete with, albeit a company whose products I was trying to sell.
  5. Yes. It is. Thanks. A lot.
  6. I couldn't find anything here about snowmobiling to the summit, but is it allowed? I would think not. But perhaps it is.
  7. No sense in wasting a hall pass with that forecast. Looks like it's Collins Beach for me!
  8. I've been wondering about Erden. Amazingly, it looks like he's still at it . Anyone know anything more?
  9. What songs would you like played? I'm still working on my list. Since they'll only be two or three people there, I should probably ask what their favorites are. List.
  10. John, where exactly is the B of A building/stairs? I'm not aware of that one. Are you thinking US Bank or Wells Fargo? If I'm running along Terwilliger, below the Veteran's hospital, the stairs that go up to the parking lot up there are a nice diversion. Doing them several times before you continue south, is even better. But I'll take the trails/hills/firelanes in Forest Park for a good workout before hitting the streets, any day.
  11. Duck a l'Orange
  12. I appreciate this advise from a climbing Random Tip and Trick point of view. But traveling with people that think EVERYTHING they have is a fucking "carry-on," this inconveniences and endangers everyone else on the plane.

  15. Washing your hands helps.
  16. It happened to me too. Very wierd.
  17. I'm not going to bed until I hear the answer.
  18. You talking about something like these? http://www.coopersafety.com/item/100557/Rubber-Cap-Knee-Pads.aspx

    Dog breeds

    Good luck with that.
  20. This thread should have been titled, "Mt Rainer - Success Queefer..."
  21. I agree completely. In fact, I have found over the years, I generally get more benefit from cycling (hills in particular) than I do from trail running. Nothing empirical, it just seems to work better for me. As far as getting thrashed is concerned; race cyclocross. Training for and racing 'cross is the best of both worlds in terms of anaerobic and aerobic training. Oddly, I seem to be in the best shape of the year around the first of December. Many, many scrapes, bruises, sprained body parts and broken/bent components, but a good workout nonetheless.
  22. Any song by any boy band.

Very well indeed. In honor of the anniversary, here's a 5-year graph: http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=HAL&t=5y
