  1. Classic.
  2. Perhaps this thread should be moved to the Kids forum. Seems better suited there.
  3. Sold - Thanks Steve!
  4. For Free (or trade for maybe a 6-pack of good beer if you're local): BD Wizkid. 2004-ish model. Very gently used, like maybe 6-8 times at the gym...pretty much good as new. Pick-up in SW Portland or I'll ship it.
  5. Echo a lot of what Mel mentioned. I really like Ski Bowl (IF they get the snowfall). It's great because it's a quick trip from town (especially Clackamas) and it's relatively cheap. They have their own ski school (although I'm not sure how it compares to the others). Plus they're open until 11 Friday and Saturday. They also have terrain that goes from easy to relatively challeging with quite a few black runs. Of course Meadows is awesome and Timberline has it's advantages too, but for a quick trip to ski after work or on a short time frame, I like Ski Bowl.

    School's Starting!

I bet his parents felt terrific when he came home from school that day. Great job!
  7. Should be fun to see the new inmate in the elephant cage.
  8. I'm on my 3rd PBR. I love working from home!
  9. I have one. Mind you, I wasn't the one who purchased it, but if it keeps everyone happy at home, then so be it. It has worked great every time except once. You need to make sure you keep it powered on for about 20-30 minutes after you press one of the buttons (in my case, I've only pushed the "OK" button). I immediately turned mine off after I sent the message and it never got a chance to go through. It needs to be able to keep trying if the first one fails. Other than that, it's a pretty cool, straight forward tool. The only drawback is that it is making my map case pretty full. SPOT, Compass, altimeter, GPS, map, cell phone, flares, boombox, pint of vodka...
  10. Ok...$50...shipped.
  11. I already purchased my replacement...but thanks!
  12. Why thank you. I took it down in my basement next to a wall I just painted.
  13. 76 liters (4650 cu in), size large. Great pack and very comfortable. After several trips however I realize I need a medium. It's just a bit too low on the hips for me. $75.00 includes shipping in the US.

    PayPal Hacked

Good point about it being empty, didn't think about that. I'm not really a revengeful guy, especially since I didn't lose anything, but it would be nice to get something from him. I could change my avatar, but Sobo might not like it!

    PayPal Hacked

Get an e-mail yesterday that says the Nikon camera I ordered shipped and will arrive on schedule. Problem is, I didn't order a fucking camera! And certainly not one that cost $3000!! Turns out someone hacked my wife's PayPal and somehow used her name but put in an address in Renton for delivery. I think I averted the crisis, so I won't incur the charge thanks to PayPal being cool. But if anyone lives in Renton and would like to pay this asshole a visit, Belgian style, here's the address: 2824 BENSON RD S, #A RENTON, WA 98055

As others have said, check your credit report. But go one step further and put a fraud alert on it and lock it down. It lasts about a year and you are personally notified if anyone tries to open an account in your name. It can be a bit of a hassle for you if you try to open an account, but it keep others from doing it.
  24. Does this badboy have a removeable hipbelt? I didn't think it did, but I just looked at it again and sure enough it does. You may have to cut the end of the two side stabilizer straps to get them thru the buckles, but other than that it's doable.
  25. A nice article about Andy in today's paper: Oregonian
