I ended up going with a Heller therapist, also under the SI umbrella. Just one session thus far. Pretty cool stuff, though it is on the intense side. Not so much pain-wise, but in other ways I guess. So far I'd say it's a lot more of releasing stuck fascia from one another than the sort of 'poke the mucle until it lets go' stuff of more traditional sports massage. I'll report a bit more as I have more sessions.

Skeezix, are you interested in selling any of these? I don't have a lot of money, but I have plans in that area ths summer.

I've been reading this thing since I became aware of the link. I find it fascinating on a couple of levels. Not sure if I'd want to meet the woman, but reading about her fretting about the status of HER HAIR, on EVEREST, is riveting stuff. I didn't diss the strong girl anyway, actually I pointed out that she was dissing other strong girls, which is considered poor sportsmanship by girls.

Wow. This has gotten ugly right quick.

In order to completely level the playing field with other businesses making goods locally, the prisoners would have to have a right to organize. Now whether or not people who are incarcerated SHOULD have this right's a whole 'nother kettle of fish, but it is a universal, or very close to it, right of workers here. The right to organize is just one of many thorny issues with using prison labor.

I'll second Snodger's tip on the Dr Scoll's blister thingers. They come in a blue plastic box, product name "Cushlin Ultra slim". They really work. Also Benadryl has the same active ingredient as Tylenol/Excedrin PM, the ingredient that makes you sleepy....add sleeping pill to its long list of uses.

Turning off my firewall makes the problem go away. FWIW it's one of the Symantec ones. Unfortunately I don't want to turn off the firewall!!
