Stuff sacks are for food and little stuff. Otherwise, you pack way better, and save weight not using them IMO. I do use a crampon bag for the crampons, and would like to get rid of that bag. Short of duct taping every point (dumb) is there any way to pack them so they don't trash your stuff?
