  1. Well, whatever. It's a really big tank, and I feel very safe in it.
  2. Whatever, I'm blowing up your little sissypants RPG with the big gun thinger on the front of my tank.
  3. I have found, using a few different shelters, and both sil/sil and sil/PU....and also stuff with and without caternary cut, that sil stuff does stretch a lot more than good old PU. Especially sil/sil. It's mildly annoying, but a lot of it is remedied by retensioning the shelter an hour or two after pitching. Not always an option, but when it is, I've been able to get the sag out and not have it come back much. Caternary versus non, not much difference in stretch, surprisingly.

"This won't hurt very much" is somewhat relative when you are talking about Hellerwork. Rolfing must hurt worse or something.
  5. I've taken to traveling by tank in the backcountry to protect against killer snafflehound attacks. Really, it's much safer.
  6. Mr E, that should be your match.com picture. Very cute. Any hey Luke, you did good!
  7. I'm kind of digging on the MontBell Alpine Hugger #1 at the moment.
  8. Regular Seam Grip does NOT work on Silnylon.

  10. I've always just used the alti, the alarm clock, and the clock on my altis. The plain old alti function is the shizzle, everything else is just a feature I don't want.
  11. Thanks Will, your answer was pretty much what I found out just by digging around. I wonder if it's still a live ball or what, as if it just had a slow death, it might re-emerge with more gusto next time. I kind of got thinking about it because of some other discussions here on the board which are making me wonder what it would take for the climbing community to speak with any kind of clear voice.

    chatter time!
  13. I just did a little research on the status of the Wilderness bolt ban, implemented and then lifted in 1998, and then.....never really resolved. It's my understanding that the ban is still lifted, but there was supposed to be a ruling made on this and it seems it never was. Anyone know what happened, say from 2001 to now, on this matter?
  14. And another. When you wash that DWR stuff, ya gotta use a non-detergent soap too. Tech Wash or (I'm only 90% sure on this) dry laundry soap. The dry laundry soap with say if it's detergent or not. Do not use Woolite or liquid laundry soap on DWR or you might major screw it up.

    3. Longtime m/c rider, know how to drive. My s00b is slow, but my driving is solid. Deal with it. 7. n00b BC skier. Stop worrying about other people's gear and just fucking ski.
  16. I like to eat Cup o' Noodles for breakfast when I'm out for a few days. Way too fattening to eat at home, but full-on power food in the BC.

    Browsers

I like Opera, but am still fiddling a bit with FF. If I open IE when Opera's open, my PC shuts down, and I'm not too fond of that. I wonder if a PC user who uses FF can tell me if there is any way to set it up to "remember" all last tabs that were open when starting a new session with FF.

People not looking where they are going. People standing in doorways having conversations, thereby rendering said doorway unavailable for its intended use. Really, these are two examples of the same thing: People not being aware of their surroundings, or the space they take up in the world.
