I never said I wasn't a dick, but I will admit I got oddly overreactive to this incident. No idea why, as I typically don't normally post such comments in accident threads. But I did. Out of respect for the original intent I think this thread should prob be split to spray to respect the family and the original post. I have PM'd JayB with my thoughts.

Yeah this is old and at this point rather boring. But since you brought it up, I might recommend the Chris Cunningham DVD (directors series vol 2) that showcases his work including the above vid and several other Aphex Twin Vids as well as his work for: Portishead Leftfield Squarepusher Levis Sony Autechre Bjork and others My personal fave of the disc is the classic Windowlicker. Also of note, dont miss his equally disturbing newest work: Rubber Johnny The guy is pretty fucking brilliant IMHO. Sorry for my digression...we shall return to our regularly scheduled thread...

Crackers said; What is that? I have Drosophilia, Sexperimental, and Insecticide...their new album is called "Wicked". Searching their discography I see nothing called "Statistic? I am a major S.U.N. project fan so please elighten me.

Good Fucking read, inspires me to find a time machine. Quality and accurate read and it gives me a nice frame of reference for things I have heard about but never understood! DW was the original badass. My appreciation of early British cragging cranked up several notches after reading this. To understand where it came from gives me a balanced view of todays exploits..."ie" discredits the shit that was assume is uber or "cutting edge" BTW, thank in advance for grats on my 1k+ posts

We no longer sell Chanticoâ„¢ drinking chocolate, what more do they want . Its funny to watch new employees, first month they all order massive chocolate/caramel/goop infested personal drinks...as time passes they wither and end up with coffee of the day or americanos. I have discovered that an employees work ethic is reflected in what they drink in their off time. Americano partners are awesome. Blended drink/heavy goop based drink partners suck balls.

A friend passed this on to me and I thought it was some mighty spiff chalkwork. Of key interest is the 3d works. If I missed a past thread of this please disregard! Fun and interesting work

I consider myself to be pretty uber into chillout/ambient/downtempo and these are my picks for some fine stuff, some common and some not so, but really nice variety tho. Good choices in the above posts, its nice to see some recognition of an oft ignored genre. Tipsy Dub Trees Younger Brother OTT Shpongle Steve Roach Inlakesh Kruder & D0rf Thievery Corporation Zero 7 Cafe Del Mar Series Older Autechre: Incunabula (my fave, Bass Cadet) Synesthesia: Ephemeral Sven Vath: Touch Themes

Wheat Chex! Good fun multi pitch route, like 4 or 5 pitches, walk off left and down the drainage back to the car! If you look at the classic shot of the formation from the road, WC is the obvious weakness that extends all the way up the center of the face. The rock is very soft...the upper white, leached Navajo. I knocked a tire sized block loose, yelled as it was headed for my partner, but by the time it reached him it was a rain of sand. Also good stuff: Pulpit, practice cliffs, down o' the mouth, temple of sinawava (tourista),and the cerberus area are all classic low impact cragging options. Of course I would also recommend Kolob, SF of Taylor creek <insert chestbeat> But yeah some short canyon trips would be a hoot too, Keyhole, Pine Creek, and Behunin are three good, low key canyoneering trips! Enjoy and I am envious!

Thanks for asking first. That's mighty bif of you. But since you asked, I think that a bunch of bolts and a fixed line, for the purpose of increasing traffic, are a bad idea. If the climbing up there is that great, people will make the effort. Keep it wild. Keep it scary or make it more open to keeping clean? Definitely do the latter. Use bolts and cleaning with prudence will make it accesable is very warranted, lest it become another annoying moss/lichen choked deathfest. You have my vote for keeping it safe and free for the peeps!

From "Kix" Logical yes, appropriate...not really. Sometimes situations don't allow for proper "venting", a heads up thread is sometimes a nice way to get a concensus, or perhaps an answer from the offending party if infact they peruse the board. Or simply a chance to vent outside the situation. After the fact, smart alec replies don't help.

I bet that made quite a thud man.

You see something wrong with that Mike? I don't and think if we did the same we might have a little more justice in this fucking cuntry.

Cut my teeth on these back in the early 80's. Good memories but my personal fave is 10%, a good mix of clean aid challenges...just DONT clip the bolts or the fun and challenge will be ruined. LTW: City Park 10% p1 Narrow Arrow Overhang p1&2 UTW: Town Crier Green Dragon Dana's Arch

The "injured" is no longer with us... a few of us were mountainbiking on the other side of l-worth and heard the heli commotion. the rain we were getting drenched by had come from that direction. it was so slick i actually ended up walking much of the ride down. it's hard to imagine being anywhere near a rock-climb or scramble in that stuff. good thing it didn't end up more serious. here's wishing the injured a speedy recovery, and sending condolences to the family of those who aren't able to ...
