When you drive South out of Zion, look at the Eagle Crags from Springdale. The largest spire looks like a headless Aunt Jemima.

This was available until recently on chesslerbooks.com with the notation that it was going to be released on dvd in the fall of 2005. Obviously this did not happen and I have just emailed chessler to see what info he has. I have a copy of the vhs and would love a dvd. El capitan and On the rocks are my two all time favorite vids EVER. Good stuff.

I love that ominous and creepy dark ambient classical from some obscure composer that is used on the Paul Padula film El Capitan. Does anyone know if that stuff is available or have any linkys? Cheers

This title thread reminded me of something completely off topic but non the less interesting as a break from the tedious drama. Infinite Briss And this! Infinite Briss II

What about long term? I have heard that after a while they begin to revert back but even at a faster rate. Too creepy for me, I will stick with foureyes.

Getting my Necro to level 67 or 68 and hopefully keyed for BoT and Old Sebelis. I might play my Warrior a bit too, got good gear on him and I really want 70 to get my hate augs. Mebbe a run with Jumar or a hike up Granite Mtn. Nothing crazy but fun for sure!

OK, three more from me...the last on I will edit in. Early in 1985, I had just discovered Index and we set about to do the most audacious thing we could find that we could do...the Narrow Arrow Standard. I it was scary and new and was our big obsession. Pope posing in the baking heat at the base of Rixons pinnacle in 1988. We had just driven from Tacoma that night on the way to my job in Zion and made a stop over in the Valley. In 1986, the big goal was Dr Leakey, I was pretty stoked when I was able to do the upper moves for the first time, I even ripped my polypro taking falls! wOOT!

This happened after I left I believe. Also, the Tower had a bit of a bolt "wars" after a certain local climber bolted a bunch of aretes and shallow corners, leaving ropes in place for days much to the angst of the management. I think they drafted a new bolting policy soon thereafter.

In closing for the moment, may I present Devils Tower 1987.
