    Quality gif

I apologize if this has been linked before but I just discovered it and for a .gif I think its pretty cool. Broadband makes it bearable tho, my apologies to the dialups.
  8. Sent you a PM, I hang out at Edgeworks and would be down with hooking up if you would like and doing some trad and discussing gear and such sometime. cheers
  9. Even if you cleaned that shit, it would be shit 2 months later. Classic Cascades north-facing-low-angled-fiveseven-seepy-mossfight. Move to California you chuffer. 75% Clear and 10a you "faux chuff bagger twat", its not about longevity it's about having something to come back to every few months as if it were fresh and un-trammeled.

    Joke

I like chipping and glueing, I should probably be banned for that. Considering how Dwayner was banned for espousing the pure trad ethic and I sit here typing away with a full can of PC7 next to me and a chisel and drill in my pack... I say bring him back!!

  21. We have a winner! Too bad Ron can't participate in this argument as I am sure he would have some interesting views. His artical (if I find the original I have buried away I will scan) on constructive scarring and his HAFWEN ( hammered anchors fixed where nessesary) routes were "revolutionary" when they were first expressed in Zion in the late 70's and 80's. Also seemingly contradictory were his routes in Snow Canyon and Boulder problems in Zion that were enhanced by the drill. We need Ron on this forum to show you all a thing or two!
  22. This image serves a dual purpose and considering the thread flow, almost perfect. Many of you wont get it but for those that do
  23. Bullshit, the developers don't own the rock. You have the same mentality as Bush Co. The US does not own the atmosphere You really aren't that full of yourself are you? How do you think Ed would feel about chipping and glueing? Someone has to support the dark side. In my post I made it vaguely specific that it depends on the area. My personal preference is one that Ed would heartily agree to:
  24. Bolting, chipping, and glueing are ALL appropriate depending on circumstances IMHO. I wouldnt bolt a crack if it was protectable, but I would glue/chip creatively and discreetly in an area where the ethics deemed it permissable with respect to the ambiance and views of the developers as well as environmental/nature based considerations.. A sport route is a creation, a journey, and an expression of the creator.
