  1. Ultimately the "peers" are lost to history as whining non climber/poseurs who spend the better part of their free time making babies and clipping bolts. Climbing as a whole has lost its bite and anyone who has registered after 2002 on CC.com is pretty much in the peanut, bolt clipper gallery*. Sorry peanuts, but you have missed out. Cheers and Nice work Pope! Thats some good stuff mate. I have a PM inc to you. We have a loop to do. * A few exceptions do exist.

    Thanks!

For keeping the boards respectful. You know who you are.
  3. Nice on them and grats to you. Good service is rare these days and peeps backing up their gear anytime is to be applauded.
  4. Sounded to me like he was being respectfully sarcastic...and perhaps deservedly so. It's hard enought to endure shitty service without even a mild though of malice. Cmon dude, be human.
  5. Where does Reinhold fit into all of this?

    Teddy Stoddard

Nice. Hard to hold it in, but that in it's entirety is the answer to alot of our issues. Thanks for that Couloir

    Anemone!

I just love these little plants! I was up at Grindstone Mtn. yesterday and they were out in a fury (or furry). Anyhow, just a heads up for incoming spring flower activity!
  8. I live in Tacoma's "eastside", McKinley hill yo! and work at the evil green giant just a block away (north) from the above mentioned coffee shop. I have to say from personal experience and customer comments, they leave a wee bit to be desired. If you stop in during the evening periods, just hop over to the aforementioned "green giant" and my cohorts and I will provide you with beverage magic. The downtown area is a superb hang out spot with some great free stuff: - Every third thursday all three of the Museums are free (I think there might be a time window so dbl check on that part. - Downtown farmers market on Broadway Thur. 9:00am to 2:00pm (May 17th - Oct. 18th) Tacoma farmers market - The Rock and The Harmon both offer passable and rustic local beers and foods. - Every Friday night on Puyallup Ave, under the 705 freeway is a HUGE food, music, and warm blanket givaway fest for people in need, so if you feel so inclined, dress up in your best scarfing wear and head over for some free fun! - Puyallup ave and L street up to the dome area and around McKinley Park is a sweet place to score some meth and a chance to meet one of our local "ladies". I like to call them the "shrunken applehead queens",if you dont mind a woman thats all gums then your good to go. One last tip for a fun quick outing. Check for a low tide and drive to Point Defiance. Head to the Owen beach parking lot and hike the beach ALL the way around to the small and quaint community of Salmon Beach. A steep set of stairs will see back up to the top and you can walk the trails or road back to your car at Owen beach. Roughly 4 miles and some nice wild beach scenery despite being in the middle of a city. Good luck man and have fun!
  9. OMFG that totally Rocks OW! Thanks for making my night! I go back to "that" world on friday. sorry for the digression.

    Magic Bike Helmets

I have a feeling he was wearing a helmet that had a level requirement. He could use it but due to his low level in bicycling, the helmets stats were too low to prevent impact. I don't have the specifics but I believe it be something like the item below. Note the level requirement.
  14. I think Mark hits it on the head. Sure you can be a Macho trail user, but its more "cool" to be one thats saavy enough to deal with and appreciate the bigger picture.

    Eagle VS Deer

That was obviously a fucking set up by the same people that fight pitts and obviously misuse their Falcons. I call BULLFUCKING SHIT on that video and the insolent morons that set it up. Sorry but I have this thing about animal cruelty. If you have a problem with that you can send me a PM Biotch.

  17. When you drive South out of Zion, look at the Eagle Crags from Springdale. The largest spire looks like a headless Aunt Jemima.
  18. That rocks! Thanks Dru, for the link.
  19. I cant believe no ones brought this guy up, and you guys call yourselves climbers. Pfft!
  20. This was available until recently on chesslerbooks.com with the notation that it was going to be released on dvd in the fall of 2005. Obviously this did not happen and I have just emailed chessler to see what info he has. I have a copy of the vhs and would love a dvd. El capitan and On the rocks are my two all time favorite vids EVER. Good stuff.
  21. - Tore down upper part of our old chimney - Upgraded the 1950's shades on the windows in the front room - Got my Necromancer to level 67 and a nice cloak from Arcstone.
  22. I love that ominous and creepy dark ambient classical from some obscure composer that is used on the Paul Padula film El Capitan. Does anyone know if that stuff is available or have any linkys? Cheers
