rumr-you'd probably make a full recovery if you quit wearing your lycra so tight.

actually, if everything is in proper working order, i believe it would be erectile function. though, i probably should've specified DYSfunction when providing that stat. or if anybody is feeling uncomfortable we could just refer to it as ED or M(ale)ED. i still wonder everytime i hear that term if it's possible for women to have erectile dysfunction.

E-rock, oh come on e-rock you can do better than insulting FW's erectile function.(btw- how is it you know about his erectile function?) it's a medical condition suffered by 10 million men in this country (you could be one of them). the could news is that there is help. there are thousands of phone sex operators waiting to take your call right now! as for fairweather, i am glad to see he is posting again even if i do think his political views are impotent (i am not going to speculate about him personally)

FW- you're right. i was vaguely referring to CG's membership in a sorority. i did a lot of stupid things when i was 18-20. i've done even more since then. h/e, even at 18 it wasn't hard to figure out joining a sorority like that would be wrong. definitely not rocket science. i absolutely agree that we should not be putting people in office based on their particular beliefs. i think GW was elected largely b/c of his alleged morality. i don't think his religious beliefs qualify him to be president. in CG's case, i think the issue is less about morals than it is about judgement. she demonstrated a substantial lack of judgement in selecting that sorority. there are plenty of others to choose if you must join one. she has demonstrated a lack of judgement and inattention to detail as AG. those aren't questions of morality so much as they are personality traits that make her unqualified for the job imo. unfortunately, based on my feelings for certain agendas and policies, i was still forced to choose her. and to lars, my reference to the tally regarded the "absolute" number of votes for Rossi or CG that would come up w/each recount. right now it's 42 votes that separates them. next time it could be 2. another time it could be 442.in any given count the winner might change when statistically it's a dead heat. 42 is about .001% of the about 3 million votes cast in that race. see e-rock's coin flip reference.

it was sort of long stretch to get from a ladder to smelly balls but really not so far to go from balls to hellfire

I've only smelled mine, and that's how I wanted things. This man took something from me last night, and I'll never be the same. hmmmm...the fact that you've smelled your own is a little disconcerting

it doesn't matter how many recounts are done. the tally is so close that the answer would probably change each time. it's interesting that the difference is 42 votes. no matter who ends up being governor of this state, the voters are divided. no clear majority here. as a democratic voter, i found it very distasteful to vote for gregoire and gave serious consideration to voting for rossi. it was truly a situation where i could find very little redeeming about one candidate so i voted against the policies of the other. i ended up voting on policies and the candidates' public positions on issues. if i had chosen to vote on morals i probably would've voted the other way. it's a shame that politics has come down to voting policies v. morals.

I think you are quite mistaken but it seems clear that you are rather emotional about the subject. Care to divulge why? no

-
dwarfs don't scare me! i'm more scared of dru's autosig. big squids all over the place?

it's nice to see all the positive answers but it sort of bugs me that the question even needs to be asked. i can't imagine one of the guys posting the same the same thing. things have changed but maybe not so much. somehow i don't envision rumr, snoboy, griz, specialed, or rumr asking the following question "girls, do you ever feel 'threatened' by the males you climb with? And I dont mean coming after you with an ice ax, swinging a set of cams at your head, or pushing you down a snowslope."

yeah these are the same people who are trying to save my son from seeing a breast during the super bowl but can't fund their own "no child left behind" bill. way to go GOP.

And all the other fees for his companions. He can pay for an entire group and not put a dent in his wallet....or he could use the money to buy enough vaccines for a small country in Africa to save some lifes....ahhh. Life choices. sorry but this just pisses me off. how do you know what he does in terms of charitable giving? should he not have the oppportunity to enjoy some of his wealth by spending it on himself? would you begrudge some avg middle class guy a trip to everest if (s)he worked hard and saved the money for it? should that person give that hard earned savings to a vaccination program in africa?

layton might be hoping for x-rated but if he's there it's gonna be PG-13 at best!

Yes, Sr. Shrub did have more foreign policy sense than Jr - at least on how to spin it properly. Like you, can't say I agreed with it, but he was more diplomatic. On the other hand, I trusted Sr. less than I trust Jr. Sr is smart like a fox AND connected. He was too smart to let people really know what his staff's intentions were. I can not believe anything went on in that admin without Sr knowing it. Jr on the other hand... well... I've always thought as a person he was OK - he's just got some bad "friends". At least that's how I'm spinning it in my head to keep my sanity. -kurt this is actually what bothers me more. Jr. might be a nice guy but he doesn't have a clue what's going on around him sometimes (at least that's how it seems) I prefer to think that while I might not like what Sr. was doing that he knew what is staff was doing. i think our president should be smart like a fox.

Uggg. You had to remind me of the other shrub... didn't you. Rather ironic though, isn't it?! One could almost say the Kerry voters are enlightened, eh? -kurt the other shrub wasn't even in the same category of "bad" as this one. i may not have agreed with him on every point but at least i had the sense that he had a clue.
