  1. checking the lockers, check PMs
  2. I should have asked, what are you primarily going to be using it for? (pause for Dwayner listening in)
  3. Tell Bryan if he doesn't quit smoking, he'll be back to only getting up 5.10's by the time he's 40....thats coming up in....like.....about 18 years or so? Nice! If you got more pics bring em all John! We can take it! Ujahn just gave me some pics of Red Rocks last night, I should post them to show Bryan what he missed. (nothing really as he's hit every climbing area in the US over the summer I think) Thanks for sharing! Good stuff!
  4. I have one Dan. It's as good as anything made today. I'd be buying Daves Chouinard though, it's a good deal.
  5. Wow, maybe Nick just had a major bad case of Diareha of the mouth! We all can have moments like that, usually while drunk or stoned. Since he's most likely a great guy othersise, I'd have him read your well reasoned statement above, and in this, as in bad belaying skills, let him knw that there are NO 3rd chances should he have a 2nd case of Diareha of the mouth. I could see loving a woman like that BTW. Mine is equally awesome. She's bought my last 4 coats as I'm such a gearwhore I jump on all gear deal immediately. 2 Northface's for climbing, an Obermeyer and a 2 part Columbia sportswear thing for skiing. Guess what I'm getting this year? Softshell!
  6. Bill, your post and testimony has got to be a breath of fresh air to Pisco. I'm sure he'll be pleased to hear AK's a real person and not Arc back with a new Avatar. It should mean that once someones project or route gets done, the boots at some point will get sent. Which is still PF lame that it's been a month and not even a e-mail to the buyer.
  7. I remember reading a story a long time ago (I probably will screw this up) that Galen Rowell had climbed up some wide crack, and gotten his foot jammed in so hard he couldn't get it out. So his partner that day, Layton Kor, climbed up and hammered it out of the crack. It struck me as such bullshit at the time. Yet later, at various times, I've gotten hands, fingers and feet jammed in so severely that getting them out seemed in doubt. I put it out of my mind to the point that I didn't even ask Rowell about it when he was up this way. I have yet to clip myself or velcro my shoe, but there's most likely still plenty of time.
  8. Not at all, thank you for sharing it Toyko Bill.
  9. I sent in some money to get "yanker", or some damn thing, changed to Couchmaster. I must have pissed someone off, they changed it back to "spray'rentise" without so much as a nod in my direction. So good luck.
  10. One of us obviously needs to clue in Huckabee that you won't be voting for him..... Probably Mitt as well from the sounds of it....
  11. That story was SPOT on. Nice! ______________________________________________________ I want to be like Dru, great explorer (of the great white north)! My goal for the year 2008 is to find and develop 7 or 8 new climbing areas. My list will include: *Twilight Zone *Gothic Rocks and the Cathedral Formation in there as well which may be 5 or more separate areas by themselves which need to be named still. Explore and put in a trail to Lemolo place (Lemolo is a Chinook word for wild and untamed). Clean and put some routes on Calamet wall. (just found this one in late November near Three corner rock and it's snowed in now big time) Calamet is a native word for stone. Furthermore, Granite peak and Granite cliffs will be found and gridbolted to Dwayners complete and total satisfaction.......all except for to his satisfaction that is. The other small cliff near 3 corner will be explored too this year and if routes can be had they will be.
  12. Sigh...can't let mine go, and have too many. But, you can get a Kong Eagle here: Kong Eagle Hammer $58. Get the normal weight one 850 gms. Bridwell designed it, I suspect you'll like it.
  13. Turns out Dru and Pandora had this one nailed. It was another lying, thieving POS persons avatar.
  14. Well, here he says he was living in "Granite Falls" which would most likly be Washington. Curious that he posted in partners just like another old time CC.comer who hasn't been around for a while. Link *Cough* ARC* Cough * ARC* Good luck, hopefully it's a fluke. Dude only registered 6-2007 too. Had anyone here climbed with AKicefall?
  15. Sounds like you need to get on the Denali Expedition. They'll straighten your ass out in no time. Helping the confused You're welcome.

    Blazers

WTF is wrong with those dudes? Their #1 scorer out injured. #1 draft pick out all year...and there they go stomping on some great teams.... Last night even the reserves looked like all stars as they crushed an otherwise solid Denver Nuggets team that has some great players in Alan Iverson, Carmello Anthony, Kenyon Martin Etc etc etc. Wow.
  17. cool mukester. Btw bro is sleeping on the couch and I'm burning his I phone battery up. Its a lot like a bad dial up connection Painfully slow
  18. We should all stop this burning down the house talk cause it's so wrong to put this on those folks. The fact is: WE DON'T KNOW. None of us. Thats my thoughts. Come on, these folks may be hurting in so many ways right now, shit, do any of us even know if they even had any insurance? Lets give them the benefit of the doubt and let the authorities like the fire marshal and insurance investigators figure this out. Meantime, just drive a few miles down the road to Cougar store.
  19. I'd seen that b4, good stuff! Couple more drinks, about40 more lbs on his ass from an office job, he'd probably fit in right here eh?!
  20. ps check out those 2 new rope deals I just posted on the online gear forum below! $94 for a 60m rope
  21. _______________________________________________________ I don't care what you say, you're an interesting joy to be around!
  22. OK, this is Miss December until the 24th of Dec. Actually, what we have here is Miss November AND Miss December. 2 sweeties fer sure. Now here's the fine print: when checking out, you must use the code HOLIDAY7 at checkout to get an extra 20% off of that price noted below. So that $114 rope will be $94. and change. If you need a rope and are low on scratch, this is THE SCHIZZ! Don't pass on it and then come whinning like in June "Oh ropes are all like $200." cause none of the rest of us want to hear that kind of crap. Just by the friggan rope now and store it in the factory sack in yer basement till you need it next June or next year, cause I suspect you will not ever see a SUB $100 (new) climbing rope ever again. Link Edelrid Fat Rock Slim 10mm x 60m Non-Dry Rope -$94 when you use the code Still only $114.93 if you don't ask for the extra 20% off. Weight 63 grams per meter Dimensions 10mm x 60m Impact force 8.8 kilonewtons UIAA falls 7 Working elongation 8 percent ________________________________________________________________ Same deal here except this is a 70mm dry rope, use the code HOLIDAY7 to get the discount. $119.93 is the exact and final price. You can have it shipped for free to your local REI for pick up too. Thanks to Geoff for pointing this one out when I sent him the info on the 60 meter one. Edelrid Live Wire Hyperdry 9.8mm x 70m Dry Rope- $119.93 Link Weight 62 grams per meter Dimensions 9.8mm x 70m Impact force 9.4 kilonewtons UIAA falls 7 Working elongation 7.6 percent
  23. Shit, if we'd known that the beer wuz flowing over there, we'd have all trucked over with our empty glasses. BTW: Thats a great idea "Maybe next time the group should go somewhere like McMenamin’s Barley Mill or some place that is more conducive to mingling." 1629 S.E. Hawthorne Portland, OR 97214 I'd prefer that, hard to hear anything but my ears ringing at the lab.
  24. Beat me to it.
