Film a Video of Yourself Climbing for Movie

Here's a great blog post I found on it: Part 1 Part 2 Some advice I've been given: Old enough to walk is not necessarily old enough to ski. They need to be able to follow instructions, as skiing is not an instinctive activity. You can ski around the kiddy hill with them between your legs if you want, but I've been told by other parents that before about age 3, if you take your kids skiing, you're just doing it for yourself, not for the kids. For these reasons, and the advice in the blog post I copied, I'm wainting until after my daughter turns 3 this winter if she seems mature and patient enough to follow my instructions. But if you take your kid earlier, and have a good experience. Please share here.

you're funny. try going on a juice fast some time and see how easy it is. and then check on some things pro cyclists do, like wiggins, since i think i saw you mention you race. if you thought outside the box a little, you might get yourself out of cat 5 someday. Oh Wiggo's on the "juice" alright.

All this thread gives me is a feeling of regret. I regret that Seahawks is gone. He was the Yin to Kevbone's Yang. Sometimes I wonder of Kevbone is all an act, but reading his "argument" with Seahawks, I'm convinced it's 100% authentic.

I'm struck by how much I had in common with him. In many more ways than are written here: http://www.horancares.com/obituary?id=1069146

The Index story, if I'm thinking of the same one, was during the 2001 Nisqually quake, and the participants are former regulars on CC.com. The story as I heard it from one of the guys involved was that rockfall was coming down all around them.

How dare you compare gay marriage to the fine institution of incest. Gay Marriage is akin to beastiality or necrophilia - an abomination so vile, I worry that the End of Days are here.

Things just stay the same in the Rust Belt. Hopefully this means interest rates will stay low for at least another 2 years so I can move out of the ghetto.

Amazing photos. Looks like you had a lifetime of great skiing just in those images. -
I'm sure you're going to help some "sheeple" turn their lives around one day with your online campaign of sarcasm and derision.

You live in the last remaining metropolitan area in the country where they don't, and look what happened.

There are many original thoughts expressed through the cryptic lyricism of King Buzzo of the Melvins.

Carbiner Broke in Fall: Red River Climbing Article

I bootied one of these on a 5.5 trad climb of all places years ago. Still on my rack. -
You mean the bar where actual craftsmen hang out? Or the one where the guys who shop at Home Depot hang out? Cuz I'm pretty sure the guys who hack out original double-hung windows with sawsalls and staple in vinyl replacements, or the guys who install a third layer of architectural shingling over a roof that was never installed with proper venting in the first place, or the guys who bore through clapboards with a hole saw every 5 feet to inject insulation that doesn't do shit and then hammer shitty pine plugs that don't fit properly back into the holes don't take enough pride in their workmanship to care what I say. Off, I don't mean to disparage your particular line of work. And knowing you, I would wager a fair guess that you're a man who stands behind your work and subscribes to best practices. While my original statement was intentionally hyperbolic, you gotta admit, the industry of "contractors" as a whole is populated to a large extent by ground troops for manufacturers that constantly push the latest new advancement in construction materials to the detriment of craftsmanship and longevity.

Looks about on the level of craftsmenship that most "contractors" produce these days.

Wait? Who am I supposed to hate more? It's not clear from this thread.

This thread is awesome.

That's good to hear. Even Kowboy doesn't snowboard anymore. I've been far away in a land where it snows and melts just to torture me.
