  1. That's really the only reason I would use a plastic boot. For day slogs it's the leathers, for multi-day with the possibility of below freezing at night (frozen boots suck to put on) it's plastics all the way. Hey, gruntpltleader, you are planning on doing Rainier in a day, right?
  2. Rasta bivy kit
  3. Hey! That's ME!!!!! That's a huge rock you just shit!! Bet that hurt
  4. Super-feet are so good because during the manufacturing process each individual piece makes a deal with the devil for their sole. Ba dum dump! Ching!
  5. So, they bailed before the top?? http://climbing.com/news/hotflashes/grandsqueezebox/ Impressive
  6. Might go with something with some more insulation if you plan on doing Rainier or another PNW volcano, but you shouldn't have to go with plastics if you are not doing them in winter. Just size them with two pairs of thick socks and get some super-feet and you're golden
  7. I've still got two years on you then N00B!! Edited: How's that for a snaffle page top beyotches!!
  8. It was funnier when it happened last year: Before Kevbone
  9. Don't you mean $105*20 = $2100
  10. The fuckers at the 4x4 shop told me this jack and shovel would get me outta anything??
  11. Dude, I guarantee you we'll see some this weekend. Almost hit one the last time while driving back. Anti-lock brakes are a must between Sandpoint and Radium
  12. If someone thinks Rainier is the most challenging peak in the state of Washington, they clearly are not a climber.
  13. Damn, this is some funny shit. Chaps, dude. WTF?? Are you for rizzle Kevbone, I give you shit because it makes me laugh. Just from listening to your banter makes me think I'd tie into a rope with you any time  I've been at the game for a decade and a half and I hope I never get as serious as Chaps seems to be
  14. They should start giving these away each week as prizes for the biggest one of the week:
  15. Dude, really. Too much information. You're just jealous no one is attrached to your jiggling jelly belly you keep shaking in their faces.
  16. How about a place or a way to search for post with video's embedded in them (or linked for that matter)? I can't watch them at work and don't wanna waste my valuable free time wading through the spray to find the video's I missed
  17. I was checking out these guys on Aurora: http://www.racknroad.com/seattle.html I think the Yakima option is exactly what I'm looking for. The existing rack has rails where the raised-crossbar/spoiler-thingys can slide back and forth. There's a knob underneath this that cranks them down in place, and I was thinking there must be a way to take those off and put in a tower for one of the major brands of racks (Thule, Yakima, etc). This way I can put on a ski rack, bike rack, cargo box, etc and still remove them all when I'm not using them.
  18. I bet you are using something silly like FireFox or Opera, huh??
  19. Give it a few minutes, you haven't seen anything yet
  20. Hey Oly, you need to add a onclick handler to that button that disables it when clicked once. Here
  21. I sent a couple of Thermarest in to get patched up and when I got them back (they are all sent to Cascade Designs factory for repair) they didn't charge me, not even for shipping. They're local guys, too
  22. Got to go to Alaska  Fuck YEAH!! :rawk:
  23. Yup, that's it alright
  24. I think it's a matter of those using the "Quick Reply" option and clicking multiple times
