    Disturbing

Or an Internet connection true and true in order
  2. I agree 98.96% of the time, but let's not stop there. Don't trip over your crampons or any other sharp objects attached to your body because MANY people have died of that. I like rock climbing for this reason.
  3. Men are from Mars, women from Venus, and most can't tell the difference because their head is somewhere inside Uranus.
  4. Squamish is a special place. As you escalate, the Split Pillar should be considered. You will not be disappointed.
  5. All right you fuckers, I am all in with a manifesto. From millions of years ago until recently we conmunicated by talking or touching or fucking or kissing or surviving. Now we could all be Hawking or and just express ourselves only on the phone or the internet. Resist life as it has become about TV and the internet. Signed, On the internet.
  6. Christ! (Sorry, I just declared myself by saying that but if I had done it silently it would be have been noble, moral, and ethical and then it would have been okay for the GOP). The Republicans failed in THIS election and fucked themselves up (I guess I am getting close to the political cliff) by ignoring the fact that our melting pot country appreciates a tolerant viewpoint. The Republicans are licking their wounds and trying to figure out why the Dems just watched and laughed while their people just waited and voted. For me it still comes down to this: - Live and let live (easy concept but rarely practiced) - You cannot control other people's behavior, only your own Back on target; Obama is going to play a little hardball this term since he is no longer looking for reelection. The Repubs are going to acquiesce a bit since their master plan didn't work. If they can't work it out, God save the Queen because the rest of the world (except Israal) are licking their chops.
  7. You should get a medal for doing this hike at this time of year. As far as your knee, it along with shoulders is really the Achilles heel of our anatomy. Along with our brain. Perhaps your medal was in the mailbox. Is there still a fire hydrant up there?
  8. Luckily what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas but what happens at Red Rocks gets reported on cc.com sometimes. Thanks for the great TR and photos.
  9. No cause of death reported. But he was an icon for us oldsters.
  10. We can't ask Rush to leave until John Cusack's movie on him comes out. I'll bet it will be very juicy.
  11. Thirteen pages and counting. One flu over the cuckoo's nest.
  12. "Still of the Night" and "Slide it In" by Whitesnake still keep me up at night sometimes. For different reasons
  13. Jim's wife Jola is from Europe.
  14. This thread is metastasizing like cancer and not like flu. I am impressed with the knowledge of the members. My approach is simple: I do what I want and take what I get. I have never had a flu shot and haven't had the flu in 30 years. Its empirical evidence that works for me.
  15. Yes who are these IE upstarts anyway!
  16. Agreed.
  17. Will you introduce me to these women when I'm out there next week? Several are busy doing Crossfit, a few more doing MMA, many going running, and a few more in Missoula getting ready for the Cat/Griz game. Girls have to figure out what to do in the shoulder season before ice climbing and ski season. And BTW we have a warming trend right now. Good luck with the ice.
  18. God created sheep for food and fleece. Montana has women who would kick your ass and still clean up for Saturday night.
  19. Again, I plead ignorant due to partial knowledge. I will consult Wikipedia and reappear more knowledgable. I forgot that Rush was Canadian and that you guys know your own and circle wagons way better than we do in the US.
  20. I defer to the expert: G-Spotter. I was hoping I might have more knowledge than the local but apparently am trumped. Canucks rule once again.
  21. One of the best shows I saw was Metallica on the Ride the Lightning Tour opening at Day on the Green in the Oakland Coliseum. saw them 2 times: first time during the "metal up your ass" tour (lineup with Burton and Mustaine) and then "black" tour. I think things went downhill and never saw them again. Saw Motorhead in Buffalo NY, insane show! Yes things did go downhill as far as creativity but their legacy is intact and I don't care if they do anything new ever again. As long as my pulse increases with "Enter Sandman" or ACDCs "Hells Bells" or Accept's "Balls to the Wall" I will know I am still alive and that politics and the flu are irrelevant at the moment. Oh, let's add Dio "Holy Diver".
  22. As far as I know, Eurasian Eyes is because of his spouse, Pulse is because he lost feeling in his hands on the FA, and Driven was because it required so much effort to bump another letter grade. Rush to my knowledge had nothing to do with those three, but there may be others.

    PETRAEUS

I doubt testosterone or blood flow (except for the brain) was a problem in this case.
  24. The best way to avoid cancer is to hope you die of something else first. Hopefully something noble or at least less painful.
