    Incredibles?

    Best Pixar Movie Ever.
  4. If you're just passing through on your way south, Whole Foods might be your best option if you go around the city on 405: http://www.wholefoods.com/stores/portland/index.html#map
  5. A single 60 works from the tree ledge to the end of the 'traverse' second pitch (not snag ledge). Another 60m rap puts you at the base of Cruisin'. I've always thought the pitch after the tree ledge (4th in book) was fun, but not the scrambling from there. If you do that and there aren't many people out climbing you can make a bunch of single rope raps from the Grassy Ledges.
  6. Use the color laser printer at work
  7. Damn man, do you climb that thing once a month or something?
  8. Like NOLSe said, do the variation (West Face Variation) but do the variation of that (13a I think???) that makes it a .7 and then a nice long .8 taking a more direct line to Bohn Street. I haven't done it either but the Panic Point variation goes up and right directly to the summit after the first couple of bolts on the regular pitch.
  9. Hangers.
  10. Ya, I'm down. It's pretty tough for me to get out there after work around now anyways, much easier in a couple of months...
  11. Not sure when you run but I'd be up for hitting some trails after 4pm during the week.
  12. He he he glad I didn't buy a pass
  13. Friends of Forest Park puts out a book of maps with convenient loop options, from 3-12 miles. I think Powells has them.

    Good Thai food

In Portland, Cha Ba Thai on Sandy. Better than much of the Thai food I had in Thailand.

    Good lyrics

Hey hey hey all you girls in these Industrial towns I know you’re prob’ly gettin’ tired Of all the local clowns They never give you no respect They never treat you nice So perhaps you oughta try A little friendly advice And be a crew slut Hey, you’ll love it Be a crew slut It’s a way of life Be a crew slut See the world Don’t make a fuss, just get on the bus Crew slut Add water makes it’s own sauce Be a crew slut So you don’t forget, call before midnite tonite The boys in the crew Are just waiting for you You never to get move around You never go nowhere I know yer prob’ly gettin’ tired Of all the guys out there You always wondered what it’s like To go from place to place So, darlin’, take a little ride On the mixer’s face Be a crew slut Just follow the magic footprints Be a crew slut Hey, you’ll love it! Be a crew slut It’s a way of life I ain’t gonna squash it And you don’t need to wash it! Crew slut Hey, I’ll buy you a pizza Crew slut Of course I’ll introduce you to warren The boys in the crew Are only waiting for you - FZ

    Still Hiring...

Godamn I'm so sick of the crap tech job market down here in Portland.
  17. Oregon Descents has a route description. Do a search of the Oregon forum, you'll turn up a few TRs.
  18. Wow! Never thought I'd see the day. Those Precor tredmills are dope - set the incline to 15% and feel the burn...
  19. I'd say if the shop sells/mounts the bindings in question regulary then I would trust them. For example, I would not trust OMC to mount my Dynafits, but I would Mt Shop.
  20. Someone skied the WCR out of the Old Chute on Saturday. I'd agree that it looked pretty loaded.
  21. Yikes, glad you are alright Ivan! I'm always happy to change my plans and help a brother out if a brother needs help. Skiing looked sweet Saturday. Can't believe I made the call that it would be shite and left the planks at home.
  22. ... in the parking lot. For those of you who are climbing alone and do take a digger and end up ok - stand up and wave instead of looking dumbfounded. Otherwise folks may think you are hurt and feel compelled to go out of their way to check on you when it is not necessary. Thank you.
  23. There is this online guide for Carver. You need to sign a waiver at PRG to climb there.
