  1. F*ck that! I want another regular lane on I5 to be turned into a bike lane!
  2. Awww, I think Bill was just feeling surly that day. I mean, after all, the man didn't have his beer... "Guys, I feel compelled to ask... why Rocky, anyway?" My take: - Close to home, easier to battle traffic to get there. - Easy to set up TRs on climbs that'll trash you quick.
  3. Say Bill, now I know you've been hittin' the vino a bit, but since you're calling folks out I just got to say - there wasn't anyone at that table that night who thought it appropriate to get the waitress' attention from accross the room with a full on, two-fingered whistle. Anyways, climb on, eh?
  4. edit - looked closer at the map, this makes sense, thanks!
  5. Curious, what's the prefered way to approach Mt Stuart's West Ridge for a car to car - via Ingalls or Longs pass? Thx.
  6. Money for nothing and the tix are free?
  7. Ah, just found this post... http://www.cascadeclimbers.com/threadz/s...true#Post475263 Looks to be opening soon I guess.
  8. What's the news? Open yet? Not that I'm thinking at all about indoor climbing right now but I'm curious.
  9. that's such crap. it'll be days before it reabsorbs the fluid and just be sore and annoying. one quick pinprick and it's over. Agreed, I've waited up to a week for blisters to reabsorb in the past, they just don't go away. Pop, disinfect, suck it up.
  10. Moutain Soles has put 4 resoles on my Sportivas and 2 on my 5.10s over the years, I've only had good results. But then again I've never used anyone else.
  11. Well, it was pretty hot at Beacon on Sunday... But then again there was a lot of chalk. I too will try to cut it down. A chalk ball helps a whole lot instead of loose chalk - easier to moderate and harder to spill.
  12. The irony being that he's already sponsored (ok, does commercials for) Glaxo...
  13. Apparently we have guilty until proven innocent, by Dru's logic. Oh wait, there's no way to prove innocence. Guilty!
  14. "As long as doping evolves faster than testing there will always be treatments that cannot be detected because no one knows to look for them. " But they continue to test samples that are over 10 years old with the latest-greatest testing methods, still no positives.
  15. We all thought Tyler was legit before he got caught. Yup. And they should continue to test Lance. They keep samples for years and years, so they can go back and test a sample from his first Tour when new testing methods become available. If he tests positive, I'll beleive it. That its some big conspiracy theory that Lance is in cahoots with the testing orgs... whatever.
  16. Dru's on crack. Doping exists in every sport. Controls in the Olyimpics and in Cycling are far stricter than any other sport. I suppose you could speculate 'Lance has the best doctors'. I think it has everything to do with preperation and a strong team. The Tour is nothing like it was 15 years ago.
  17. And yet despite a level of scrutiny not seen in any other sport, he's never tested positive...

    Stinky Feet

Make sure you dry your shoes after each use (don't leave them at the bottom of your pack), even alternate pairs between days if you are climbing a lot. Also, some shoes just stink more than others. My Mythos don't have a stench at all after 4 soles, but a crappy pair of 5.10s I have started stinking a month after I got them.
  19. True. But you could kick them in the head. That would be fun.
  20. Up and back on Friday.
