  5. Right on Jman... My sentiments exactly. (--Climb on,,,
  6. Thanks for the info Ray. I'm sure we'll still have a pretty good turnout anyway. Besides, just means more for the rest of us. (--Climb on,,,

Dang Bronco. Just when I thought that Trask was about the most twisted individual on this board. You're running a tight second right now buddy. (--Climb on,,,

  9. You know what!! I got pretty flippin' tired of reading after about a page and a half. Make your preference known and stand aside. Here's the deal. Tonight it's on the East side. Any questions? We all know that no matter where we choose to have this thing, on some occasion, there is going to be a minimal showing. There are enough folks wanting the thing in Issaquah, as well as willing to drive there, so let's just decide on a place and time and be done with it. My vote is for the Brewhouse, and Ray, let us know if FB can make it please. (--Climb on,,,
  10. And what about this one??? http://www.cascadeclimbers.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=12&t=000257 Plus, there is Chris_W who is going, and Erik's friend. Could it be that there are a number of cc.com'ers flying the coop for warmer weather? Hmmmm? Whatever... (--Climb on,,,
  11. Hey Fred, I'm heading down on the 19th for that weekend. If you want to leave on the evening of the 18th and make a straight shot of it, I'd be up for that. That is, if you want to go on that weekend to JTree. Let me know. (--Climb on,,,
  12. Hey all. Next Wednesday, Marmot is having a shoe demo at the Redmond Vertical World from 4 to 9 PM. I'm not sure on any of the details or whether they will be giving any discounts, but it might be a good time to try out some new treads for this summer. (--Climb on,,,
  13. Dude,,, Now that's livin'... (--Climb on,,,
  14. Good deal Chris, and thanks a million. The JTree trip got confirmed last night and I will only get Saturday and Sunday to climb, so I'll need to get a guide book for the area soon. Thanks for all the good beta about routes and racks everyone. I'll definitely take lots of photos so I can post/share them when I return. Have fun Chris (--Climb on,,,
  15. Where are ya located Biff? I'd be up for some climbs. Heck, I'll have all kinds of time come April. Give me a pm or an email to kevin.jones@cacheflow.com (--Climb on,,
  16. Thanks for the beta Will and Bob. I forgot to ask about what the average pitch length is and what would be a standard rack to take since I'll be flying down. I'm heading over towards Sedona right after but haven't figured which area I'll try to climb there yet. From what I've read so far, I'm thinking I might try a place down near Winslow that sounded a little better than the "mace".
  17. Hey all. I'll be making my first trip to JTree towards the end of April. My first official road trip as an unemployed guy if things don't shape up soon. Anyway, having never been there, I need some suggestions as to which route guides for the area are best. Also, what's the situation down there? Sport, trad, what? Any insider info as to the best places for "uncrowded" climbs? Bring it on fellas.... (--Climb on,,,

  21. What? No trip report yet? Must have been some pub club. Everyone still hungover or something?(--Climb on,,,
  22. Wow AJ, I didn't think anyone who didn't grow up in Darrington would know about that flick. The story line revolves around a rescue of some weekenders who get thrown through an avalanche and lose a couple members of their party. David Jansen plays a forest service ranger who goes up to rescue the party from a ledge they've managed to get stuck on. Hypothermia, helo crashes, heroic rescue attempts, it's all in there. Overall it's a decent movie. What?? No nominations for Vertical Limit? What's up with that? That movie rocked. Yeah. Sunk like a rock that is. (--Climb on,,,
  23. The Tikka is cool. BD also has a similar headlamp. It looks like the LED setups are becoming more and more popular due to improved battery life.
  24. DUDE,,,, All I can say is look out. You thought that the "REI Return Policy" thread got hot, wait till the girls get a load of this one. I'm sure you'll get a resounding from at least one of them. (--Climb on,,, Hey, how much is Top Ramen going for nowadays anyway?
