  1. Al's is tied with Nick right now. Is Nick smoke-free?
  2. :coffee-splurting-gremlin: Fun and games aside, that was a couple of good posts trask. Something feels wrong about the Iraq war thing. It is a shame that the Bushies have taken the US from world leader with unequivocal support almost everywhere in the aftermath of 9-11, to the current level of opposition only a few months later.
  3. Alrighty, the curiosity is killing me now. Anybody have any picture at all of the north face of Triumph, whatever the time? Gotstaseeittnow!
  4. Seattle housewifes watch out for your shrubs HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  5. Thanks glen. Torpor affliction at an all time high.
  6. Hey, what's with leaving Charlemagne out of the military analysis?
  7. Still waiting for jokes about the French participation in the American revolution.
  8. I keep most of it on a pile on the living room floor, my wife doesn't like that very much. I occasionally stash everything in plastic bins in the closet but that never lasts long. Wish I had space for the peg-board-on-the-wall idea, I might have to improvise something around that sometime. I solved the bike and ski problem nicely though - check this out[/ur], the cosmetic irregulars aluminum wall racks are a great deal at $80 or $100.
  9. So, then you can fit in 18 minutes without thinking aboot climbing, right? But the remaining two minutes are cut off short because you can't keep your mind on the task at hand, eh?
  10. How come there aren't any telemarketeers that call to sell you beer kegs?
  11. Just because you AREN'T paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you, either!
  12. Suck it Spanker You just don't climb there often enough to appreciate pictures with new "routes" - the UW rock is the best thing in town for climbing. Edit - figure I should disclaim that they're "new" "routes" before I get hit with a shovel. Nothing is new on the rock. New for me works for me though.
  13. Ya fork over the beta doo-ood
  14. That isn't Ray pissing out the window is it? Who was the unlucky sprayer standing below? Was the height great?
  15. I'd rather just stop buying their oil. Fuckers would go broke in a jiffy.
  16. You know, if the choice is between Franklin and trask with a gun on the one hand, or neither on the other, then I'd rather you kept your gun.
  17. I don't know how often this has to be pointed out, but some of the goblins are not in Iraq so war with Iraq may not solve everything. Methinks Bush would do a good thing by shifting some attention to the economy, and back to Bin Laden. If that shithead really wants chemical weapons he can probably get some Saudis to make them.
  18. Hmm. Seems to me the times then have to be also considered different enough to not warrant unregulated gun ownership anymore. After all we're still stuck with Franklin's philosophical ideals but the public safety and King of England threats are somewhat subsided.
  19. Just saw the crowd shots on the news. Staggering stuff, I'd never have bought into this beforehand. I was in downtown noon-ish, taking a walk with my dad who is trying to bounce back from pulling a muscle in his back. We saw lots of people but the news showed much bigger crowds. At the same time it was a little sad to see the news footage from the 'support the troops' rallies. It was a little bit too noticeable that the cameramen had to stay within 5 yards to get a screen full of people. Say, between 5 and 20 or so... I don't pretend to know what the ratio of supporters to protesters is, but it seems obvious that the ratio of marchers is very heavily skewed towards protesting.
  20. We had some spray going on in the trip reports forums a few weeks back and there was a little bit of moderation, with the result that they've been mostly free of spray for awhile. Looks to me like this board is quite capable of self-moderation if gently (fine, maybe not-so-gently) prodded now and then.
