No, it's just ONE screw. And it's not like it undermines the strength of the screw either. Sheeeww, that is good to know just want to make sure they still have their shit together

Well, with a thread this long, I just have to throw my 2 cents in. I think the SUV craze is a bit silly, they suck up gas, some people drive them to feel special or show their status, many of them are ugly (where did the Aztec ever go?). In the end though, is yelling at SUV drivers going to get us anywhere. No. People will do what people do no matter what other people say. People who drive them for status, the meanest thing you can do to them is ignore them and their SUVs. that will generally piss them off. If there is any solution to the gas guzzling, it would be to force the automakers to improve their fuel efficiencies, and I believe some of that is required. The technology is there, so we should be using it. However, why just point at SUVs as horrible. There are so many cars out there that also get poor gas mileage, they may not be as bad as a 13 mpg Durango, but they also suck the gas down. I drive a Saturn, 40 mpg on the freeway, and 35 mpg in town. I think SUVs are generally ugly and impractical for how much they cost, and would never think of buying one. Basically, they are the minivans of the 90's and today, and I would never think of buying a mini-van either. There is no solution to the SUV debate.

you can just see the route almost the entire way by just following the line of missing lichen...

Sounds like the usual case. In a year or so, they will determine that to affect people, kids, babies, or anything by lab rats, one would have to drink a gallon of the stuff a day for three years to cause any problems. Just like the Alar scare in the 80's for Red Delicious apples . Alar caused cancer in lab rats, but ended up requiring people to eat a few tons of apples every year for five years to even have a chance of getting cancer... 60 Minutes cost the apple industry alot of money for publicising that study .

That is a great story But unfortunately when you gotta go, you gotta go. I was up on Vampire on Tahquitz, we just finished the crux, and my partner had a sudden case of the runs. Unfortunately it was a bolt anchor directly above route. He was kind and stuck his ass out to one side as far as he could and let it fly. He was a crazy dude. He finished wiping his ass with his hand, then wiped some crud on the bolts... glad I was already a pitch up from him and not below him. I felt sorry for the climbers the following day. How would you feel after pulling the crux to come up to the belay anchors right next to a streak of shit, and have shit on the bolts as well...

Gotta love what the embedded journalists take pictures of. To me this says, the journalist was bored with the war because everything basically went too easily. So to try to make some actual news, or just get his pictures out on the web, starts taking pictures of midgets and the such.

Instead of contacts try Lasik, I've heard if you go for Lasik, your eyeballs might fall out at high altitudes. That would be cool... How you been Chris?

So it looks like we may be able to buy some cheaper BD cams soon. I wonder who will jump on this first. If I made cams I would be ready to ship some camalot look alikes on the first day the patent expires. I doubt it would be too hard to beat the $60-$112 for a camalot (shit, who can afford those #5s anyway), and still have comparable quality.

Rock on!!! you the man
