GregW says that if you don't like the working conditions you can move on. Marylou says that if you don't like working in a union shop you can move on. Who's right? Is one wrong?

That picture's like one of those optical illusions. One minute you're looking at Hillary, then right before your eyes it morphs into a female Bill Clinton. Then back again . Funny how that works.

SL, Why do you urinate on your TP? Don't pee on the TP then burn it. Most of it will burn up. The shit-covered part won't, but that blends in pretty well.

Hey! I got a tip for your links page. When linking to some SOB like DBB who does an instant redirect, make the URL in your link the final site, not the one that does the redirect. If you do it this way then the DBB link is not a dead end (i.e. back button won't get the user back to your page). Specifically, make the URL in your link alpinedave be the final UW URL instead of alpinedave.com .

Quality 5.8 Crack Climbs at Frenchman Coulee
chucK replied to catbirdseat's topic in Central/Eastern Washington
Isn't Tangled Up in Blue 10c according to Smoot ? That's a lotta gear for a 30 foot climb there JRB. (It is a sweet climb, crazy wide stemming then perfect handcrack) -
Yes it's fair. Stop whining, start making funnies. I think by now you should realize that the usage of "Mounties" is basically a brand-name cum generic, like band-aids, jello, or coke. Mountie = group of learning newbies that are easy for us to make fun of. We are laughing with them. Not at them That snaffleteam by Rainierwon is GREAT

What's your point? Still ain't a double standard.
-
Funny to see a bunch of conservatives whining about someone being non-PC
-
People cry when they lose, and gloat when they win. Calling that a "double standard" is an idiotic statement .

I think you could save a lot of money on healthcare in general if everybody had access to preventive care. How much money just gets absorbed by those who can't afford or don't want to pay for preventive healthcare and finally have to go in for full-on IC. They still can't pay, so that cost gets passed on to all of us who do, just like it would if healthcare was nationalized. Not only is the preventive care cheaper, but you get the added benefit of helping people live a healthier life!

Yep. I was thinking the other day that you just gotta expect this kind of thing to happen. The USA is now the only superpower. It seems natural that a nation will play to it's strengths and right now one of our strengths is military power. We were headed toward suffering with a possible demise of the dollar. Our economy couldn't do it alone so we are pulling the military card. It's a calculated gamble (well maybe they did some planning, hard to tell ) , figuring that the world community is not gonna stand up to us. Hopefully it won't happen. I'm not sure we could take on the entire world.

No more of a dreamworld than Peter Puget pining for congress to place all their investments in a blind trust.

Tele_nut, I think you've probably got a handle on our dislike of Bush. Please elaborate on your beef with Kerry.

Awesome article Bug! Thanks. So who thinks she's a liar? If so, what are her motives? Is she one of JayB's bribetakers (wonder who's paying her now?)? What she's saying seems to jibe with lots of other news stories. I wonder whether the committee investigating what went wrong with the intelligence will interview her?

If you hold onto it until June or July, then you can cash it out. I tried the buy something less deal but they just give you a store credit for the change unless it's June or later I think.

I second recommendations for Disaster Factor and 272. I just toproped Disaster Factor, and it seemed like it'd be tough to protect the start (giant cam?). 272 is really nice, though short, and you can toprope 2 really nice 5.9's (or are they 10a) from the same anchors. The furthest right one is a pretty straightforward lead while the middle one would be hard to protect at the start, but is really nice above. Mideast Wall is a good place to go when it's warmer. -
I'm pretty sure there were at least a couple of rope-stretcher pitches (we had 60's). We didn't get all the way to the top either.

Straight marriage will look bad if the gay marriages outlast them.

Dustin, You got that right, but it's not the poor who the Republicans are giving your hard-earned money to.

Just search as you normally would on Google. It now will return threads on CC.com (didn't used to). This was on a thread recently. Try searching for snafflehound on google. Actually I just looked on Google and if you do "advanced search" you can specify the domain within which you want to search. Type "www.cascadeclimbers.com" into the "domain" box in the advanced search menu and it will only return stuff from cascadeclimbers. Cool
