G-spotter Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Didn't the Uriostes make a 2 foot cam out of wood for hanging body weight off of while bolting a chimney route in Red Rocks? Quote
Off_White Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Yes, I've seen their plywood cams. I thought they had used them on the wide pitch on Ixtlan, but it turns out Jorge used scissors jacks and and wood blocks (according to the guide book) to aid that nasty thing. The plywood cams were pretty cool though. Quote
AlpineK Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 If you get some cams like this you may want to bring a chainsaw rope winch. A few porters may come in handy too. Quote
