KaskadskyjKozak Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 I'll take one dog and bring one bottle of Nair for the guy in the topo pic. my back hairs are suddenly all a tingle.
Hendershot Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 somebody bring some horseshoes Should I take the horse off? Horseshoes ends one of two ways. Either someone says this is stupid, lets do something else or someone gets hit by a horseshoe.
olyclimber Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 so far only 5 people have said they would like a cc.com sausage. WHAT GIVES???? I need those that would like a fine Costco wiener schnitzel to speak up and be heard. WHO WANTS A HOT DOG???
mattp Posted April 23, 2008 Author Posted April 23, 2008 I just got back from putting fliers up down on First Avenue, announcing "FREE FOOD" You better stock up. Well, not on First Avenue, but at Feathered Friends, Second Base, and Stone Gardens. In the past such fliers have brought a few new folks to the picnic though never an overwhelming hoard but I can guarantee you're going to need more than 5 weiners.
Rad Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 You bring your weiners. I'll bring my booty nuts and a few other treats to swap.
mattp Posted April 24, 2008 Author Posted April 24, 2008 We're looking forward to meeting some of you mugs.
mattp Posted April 24, 2008 Author Posted April 24, 2008 Find a Map of the Park here: http://www.seattle.gov/parks/_images/maps/picnics/Woodland4-7.pdf
mattp Posted April 24, 2008 Author Posted April 24, 2008 In the past, folks have brought kids to the picnic. Is Ulee coming?
To_The_Top Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 We're looking forward to meeting some of you mugs. He was trying to take my Nalgene....
godskid5 Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 (edited) i'll donate an old pair of kastle randonee skis in great shape. you can use them as a raffle, or put the money into cc.com fund. only catch is someone would have to pick them up from me on their way north, as i won't be able to attend. i live in battle ground, just north of vancouver off I-5. can provide pics if wanted. let me know Edited April 25, 2008 by godskid5
mattp Posted April 25, 2008 Author Posted April 25, 2008 Lets all play nice and not have a brawl like happened last year, OK?
tradhead Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Sign me up for 4 dogs. I've got a few misc. items for the swap meet as well. Is there enough grill area by the shelter or should I bring a back-up hibachi?
foraker Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 I'd like to see a Celebrity Death Match event between the Titans of Spray.
mattp Posted April 25, 2008 Author Posted April 25, 2008 As far as the grills go, I think there are one or two inside the shelter and some others not too far away but they are kind of crude and your Hibachi will lend a certain civilized aire to the whole thing -- especially if it is raining or something and the outside ones are for that reason less desirable.
sirwoofalot Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 are there any cc.com tee shirts still for sale? My son will not make it because he has swim team at that time. Sorry Porter, but my cardiologist has taken sausages, or as he calls them, angioplasty in a tube, out of my diet.
rob Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 I remember last year some really good lookin' guy named rob brought some vegan sausages.
mattp Posted April 25, 2008 Author Posted April 25, 2008 Yup, there's definitely sausages and then there are sausages. Not to malign the missus or anything, but those fancy turkey and some damn thing yuppie healthfood ones my wife brings home from the Metropolitan Market just aren't the same as the real thing.
sirwoofalot Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 I thought I was doing really well when I found I liked tofu. But then I learned that deep fried, bacon wrapped tofu was off the good food list. Dang! What about buying a T-shirt? Any left?
olyclimber Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I'll bring what i have...mostly unpopular sizes left.
