sirwoofalot Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I will Vote for Colin Powel in the primary and I will vote the Only Reasonable party for in the General election, the GOP. I WILL NOT VOTE SOCIALIST! You guy lost to the war, or did you forget that? Yes, I think it will be McCain, and yes, as McCain moves to the center it will push Billery or the Obama-nation to the left. Thus insuing another 4 years of repubican mandates! Obama can NOT win. The first Black president with be a republican. Quote

olyclimber Posted February 8, 2008 Author Posted February 8, 2008 I just got a call from McCain. He sounded drunk, mushing and slurring his words. He mentioned Reagan and Islamic Terrorists and No New Taxes. I attempted to talk, but he just kept talking, i couldn't get a word in edgewise. Quote

ivan Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Edwards is a fucknut moonbat. good use of kennings! obama will be less likely to rally the hardcore conservatives than hillary i like the image obama will cast world-wide more than hillary - more of a public apology for fucking everything up the past 8 years Quote
olyclimber Posted February 8, 2008 Author Posted February 8, 2008 sirwoofalot, so are you voting for Hillary or Barack? Quote
ClimbingPanther Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 (edited) I am still casting my vote for CP. Where are you man? Our country really needs you! I'm right here! I will cherish your vote. Edited February 8, 2008 by ClimbingPanther Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 The last thing this country needs is another "CEO president" like Hillary. American's love a good story, and Obama's telling us it'll all be OK. McCain's basically like watching reruns bad GOP TV of the past 30 years. They guy hasn't had a new idea in...well...ever. Quote
Blake Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I don't think race or gender has nearly as much to do with it as some think. Recent polls indicate that hispanic voters are going with Hillary partly out of an aversion to voting for a black man. Blacks are largely in favor of obama because of race. Race has the potential of playing the decisive role. http://cascadeclimbers.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/770277#Post770277 Quote
selkirk Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 kevin, i think there are an equal number of mysoginists out there who can't see past gender. i think hilary is going to be bent on being seen as independent of Bill. i wouldn't assume that his presence will influence economics much. Heck, there are plenty of people who aren't even mysoginist who would vote against Hillary just because she's Hillary. She'd be fine at the job of president, but I don't think anyone can say she's not a polarizing individual. Quote
Fairweather Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 i like the image obama will cast world-wide more than hillary - more of a public apology for fucking everything up the past 8 years Apologize? We don't owe anyone an apology. That's the mentality that is going to help the Democrat Party rightly lose this election...along with their anti-free market/pro government socialist ideals. Quote

Blurred vision, no balance, numb tongue. The mind recoils in horror, unable to communicate with the spinal column. Which is interesting because you can actually watch yourself behaving in this terrible way, but you can't control it. Quote
olyclimber Posted February 8, 2008 Author Posted February 8, 2008 world opinion counts little towards our freedom Quote

kevbone Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Dennis was the best choice out there. Period! Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 (edited) Democrat Caucus Finder Don't bother trying to use it, however. In three tries, I got an Error 404, "Done but with errors on page", and a 10 minute frozen monitor. Fortunately, I know where my caucus probably is from last time. Fucking Democrats. It's no wonder why we get our asses kicked so frequently. Edited February 9, 2008 by tvashtarkatena Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Oh, and the caucus hotline is "able to return most phonecalls within 24 hours". Fucking Democrats. Quote
Doug Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 While I was trying to find mine (only because my daughters ski lesson got cancelled....AGAIN!) I got a phone call from the Obama headquarters urging me to attend my caucus. They were able to tell me where mine is. Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 The site finally coughed it up like an impacted hairball. It would have been quicker to wonder the neighborhood asking for directions. I'm definitely going for Obama. Quote
builder206 Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 It worked fine for me when I looked up my caucus location on Wednesday. But, I don’t wait until the morning of a trip to pack, either. It shouldn’t be a surprise that the site is jammed up. It’s unreasonable to expect a non-profit organization to pay for the maximum bandwidth it might need in one 24-to-36 hour period every four years. Do you know your legislative district? It's the first two digits of your precinct number. Many have their own Democratic organizations: http://www.wa-democrats.org/get_local_leg.php. It might be easier to find your caucus location from them, if you waited until today to figure that out. Quote
olyclimber Posted February 9, 2008 Author Posted February 9, 2008 get'r done folks. maybe you can even get the candidate you want in the general election if you vote. its that close. Quote
