Peter_Puget
NNC is under the radar because it is a pretty unpleasant climb.
Jens
That thing is gnarly! Pre-reqs: high pain tolerance, tape, long lock-off ability between pods, wire brush. Go get it Ben! That thing has gotta be 5.13?
TimL
Bring tape. Its also really dirty, but fairly short. Send it and let us know what you think. Not to sure about the top, but the bottom moves were really hard.
Adventureboy
i tried foolishly acoupla years ago, couldn't move past the bit where you make a big deadpoint from a fist jam, to a fingerlock. The feet look bad too. but then again there are the pods. couldn't touch it! maybe it'd time to try again.
bigwallben
Thanks for the responses guys. I tried this thing one snowy day six or seven years ago back when I didn't have any biz being on it. But a couple weeks ago I walked to the base and rekindled some interest. It will be interesting to see what the difficulty is. The Jeff's article definitely makes it sound like Todd sandbagged this one. I know that he had some significantly harder climbs downrated around the time of the FFA and so the 12d grade might be in response. Anyhow, Todd was a friend and I am psyched to do some of his routes. He was truly the most motivated climber I have ever met.

Adventureboy
nice work Ben!! lets not forget The Beast project. that thing looks super severe. There are a handful of open projects in leavenworth worth taking a look at, and the thing that Tom bolted across from the snow creek parking lot, the big scooped roof. Just so everyone knows...this 'slab master' is my boss. And although he has been on part of never never, he has certainly never rp'd it, though at times he comes out of the woodwork to run laps on chronic, when the little si-itus is upon him.
