sheaf_stout Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Typical scumbag fashion. Not only is he a fraud who claimed to invent the internet, and a sore loser to Bush on the election who wasted tons of time and taxpayer money with lawsuit threats and recounts, now he grandstands himself about the so called Global Warming Scare. Pfft http://www.drudgereport.com/flash.htm POWER: GORE MANSION USES 20X AVERAGE HOUSEHOLD; CONSUMPTION INCREASE AFTER 'TRUTH' Mon Feb 26 2007 17:16:14 ET The Tennessee Center for Policy Research, an independent, nonprofit and nonpartisan research organization committed to achieving a freer, more prosperous Tennessee through free market policy solutions, issued a press release late Monday: Last night, Al Gore’s global-warming documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, collected an Oscar for best documentary feature, but the Tennessee Center for Policy Research has found that Gore deserves a gold statue for hypocrisy. Gore’s mansion, [20-room, eight-bathroom] located in the posh Belle Meade area of Nashville, consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year, according to the Nashville Electric Service (NES). In his documentary, the former Vice President calls on Americans to conserve energy by reducing electricity consumption at home. The average household in America consumes 10,656 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year, according to the Department of Energy. In 2006, Gore devoured nearly 221,000 kWh—more than 20 times the national average. Last August alone, Gore burned through 22,619 kWh—guzzling more than twice the electricity in one month than an average American family uses in an entire year. As a result of his energy consumption, Gore’s average monthly electric bill topped $1,359. Since the release of An Inconvenient Truth, Gore’s energy consumption has increased from an average of 16,200 kWh per month in 2005, to 18,400 kWh per month in 2006. Gore’s extravagant energy use does not stop at his electric bill. Natural gas bills for Gore’s mansion and guest house averaged $1,080 per month last year. “As the spokesman of choice for the global warming movement, Al Gore has to be willing to walk to walk, not just talk the talk, when it comes to home energy use,” said Tennessee Center for Policy Research President Drew Johnson. In total, Gore paid nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his Nashville estate in 2006. E-rock Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Not only is he a fraud who claimed to invent the internet Did Al Gore claim to invent the internet? Educate yourself a little bit, Sheep Shagger. The information is readily available on teh interweb. Quote

kevbone Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 wtf? has s.s. not gotten the memo? I guess not maybe this will help him Quote
minx Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 just for reference: Gore has publicly addressed this issue. Although, his home does use a great deal of power, he does participate in energy bartering. check out www.terrapass.com although, i believe it would be better if he would just conserve this is one way to compensate. i'm not sure if this is the program he uses. there are others like it. billcoe Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Gore is as big of a piece of sh*t as you currently have in office. Whats a mother to do? Link Quote
foraker Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 (edited) Yeah, turning on your light bulb. That's so hypocritical and far worse than funding terrorists and war lords in order to fight terrorism and all the other things this administration has done all in the name of freedom, democracy, and acting as if we are the moral compass of the world. Gore's home energy bill: another pathetic attempt by the weak-minded true believers to distract the public from real issues. You know it's sad when your supporters are forced to dig through Al Gore's trash just to find something to talk about other than horrid performance and failed policies of the current chimp in office. foraker Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 so does Al having a mansion invalidate the global warming data? the environment is AN issue, along with the war, health care, etc. Al leaving on a light bulb is not an issue. If Dick Cheney supports our freedoms to own firearms, is it relevant that he accidently shot someone in the face? i think not. Quote
archenemy Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 No shit. And do any of you have a solar powered PC? Quote
olyclimber Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 the real question sheafstout should be asking is why do you treehugging liberals love the earth so much and hate humans, american and her freedoms, and all that is right in the world????!!!! also, why do you bite so hard? Quote

tvashtarkatena Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Perhaps Al burns a few more kilowatts because he has a few more houseguests. I'd imagine his social calendar gets pretty full during his successful campaign to bring the number one threat to planet earth to the attention of hundreds of millions of people. It's perfectly normal for a guy like Gore to be criticized for grandstanding by the chronically small who wouldn't step up the the public plate on a real issue if you stuck a cattle prod up their ass. Ah, the comfort and extra intellect afforded by a nice, soft armchair. Quote

Bush didn't choose his job, the job chose him! It was a divine calling. God demanded this of him. The people demanded it of him. Bush is so selfless in how he reached the presidency, what an accident!! what a tireless servant of the public! Quote
