lancegranite Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Jens, The offer of krazy klimb is legit, come down and get some. Techno Jordan, Just one of my many suprising finds, 20 feet from a trade route It's not going anywhere, want to go out there this week? Do you have bird beaks and a #5 cam? I will start doing my situps again. Quote
gmknight Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 I hope Jens is joking. Some of the most beautiful and interesting climbs I have seen are single pitch trad. For those of you familiar with J-Tree, The Importance of Being Earnest and Coarse and Buggy are way sexier than any sport lines I have seen. Quote
RuMR Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 hey Jens, how's the fishin' goin' lately? Better check yer tags, i think you've hit the limit for a day... PS: When are you gettin' the little one back out?? Quote
archenemy Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Single pitch trad climbs are no dummmer than single pitch ice climbs. Quote
jhamaker Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Nice troll. What about sport climbing to a TR anchor that you can walk to? It seems if you put bolts below an easily accessible anchor you are needlessly defacing the rock, and artificialy limiting the number of possible lines/variations below the anchor. Quote
ericb Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Much better to push your leads on Outerspace on a sunny Saturday I suppose Quote
bwrts Posted November 6, 2006 Posted November 6, 2006 Hey Lance are the pics in that area that requires a machette? I mean 20' from a trade route can be F'n brutal in the desert. Situps are so fun...almost as much fun as climbing on an indoor wall. I wanna come back. What is the work schedule looking like? I think seattle may actually flood away soon.... Save me. your pal, Bwrts Quote
Cairns Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 I am not trying to rile anyone up but why is the skill level of trolls across this board so low? Quote
catbirdseat Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 I am not trying to rile anyone up but why is the skill level of trolls across this board so low? Okay, show us how it's done, big boy! Quote
Off_White Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 I am not trying to rile anyone up but why is the skill level of trolls across this board so low? Maybe it has to do with the way the pond is stocked. Why carefully tie your own flies when you can just stick some salmon eggs on a big ass hook and catch your limit? Anyone familiar with Jens' input around here over the years would see he's just stirring the pot to see what rises to the top. And you know, folks respond in part because they're as bored as Jens is... Quote
catbirdseat Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 That's another way of saying that, "dem fishes is hungry. De will bide on a bare hook". Quote
fenderfour Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 I am not trying to rile anyone up but why is the skill level of trolls across this board so low? I dunno, the lower malmute shotcrete troll was pretty damn good. Quote
