layton Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 What happens on the slope, stays on the slope. I loves me some up-sloping. Yeah slopes! Â now. how did ya get the ropes up there? Quote
EWolfe Posted October 13, 2005 Author Posted October 13, 2005 Devils club, rocks, man. Â There was a bit of alder, too. Quote
olyclimber Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 some people started singing, not knowing what it was Quote
roboboy Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 unfortunately the branch in the infamous machete photo is maple, not devils club or alder. I hated to bring it up but I'll do anything to keep some variant of the Mox thread going. it was really the best climbing report I ever read and this whole episode might even have some Hollywood movie potential, especially if it features the original cast, the captivating Mike and Erik. olyclimber Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 and they just keeping on singing, not know what it was Quote
layton Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 then why did i have puss filled ulcer from the thorns for two weeks while holding it in my hand? maple? don't think so. Â i've always thought i'd make a good movie star, but get Bruce Willis to play erik. Quote
minx Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 hmmm... mike's career path, back quack or movie wuss.... i think you better let brad pitt or star du jour play you Mike. you're odd are much better as a chiro. Quote
roboboy Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 suggest the movie be titled "Die Hard 4 - The endless thread". get Bruce Willis to play Fred Beckey bushwacking barefoot over devil's club in 1968 attempt. Quote
spicoli11 Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 botany check..........that shit is devils club Quote
