b-rock
Well shit, doc says no more running, I have advanced osteoarthritis, and I'm not even 30. Phuk. So I'll be climbing again, lots. Stay tuned

willstrickland
Nothin' but fly fishing. I am not a climber anymore, closest I get to climbing these days is ascending the two flights to my apt.
dkemp
Got within a few hundred feet of Chiwawa's summit via Chiwawa River approach - snowing sideways, made it hard to find the route. Didnt summit. There's been lots of times that I didnt summit - dont know why it bothers me this time. I guess I thought it would give it up to us
Winter
Hiked up to Lk. Vivienne on Sat. Went to bed. Woke up on Sun. morning with 30 mph+ winds, blowing snow, 30 deg. temps. Walked back down to TH. Drank beer. Rode home in back seat. Went to bed. You guys should have gone up the W. Ridge anyway. Weather was a little cold, but would have been a fun "adventure" climb. I know. Been up it already and wasn't really motivated to suffer in high winds for 4 pitches I've already done. You're right though. I was ready to give the S. Face a try in sketchy conditions but was convinced by partners I was being a jack ass.
bunglehead
I went mountain biking yesterday. Well, there was a lot of hiking involved due to mud. The trail got a piece of me in a turn. Very muddy. A ride that usually takes 3 hr took 4&1/2. Oh, and another dog tried to attack my dog.
thelawgoddess
i hope your dog taught the other dog a lesson! grr!!!
Peter_Puget
I actually went climbing for a change: Tried American Caesar. Then I tried it in TR. It’s moderate flared hands/fists to a bulge where the crack narrows considerable only to open up a bit above the bulge. Today at work everyone has asked: "What happened to your hand?" bunglehead
i hope your dog taught the other dog a lesson! grr!!! No, but I did. I picked his mangy ass up by his scruff and threw him 4 feet into the woods. That shut him up.
Gary_Yngve
Scrambled Cashmere. Our car suffered a severe pulmonary embolism on the drive out there and a lesser one on the way back. Camped at Little Caroline Lake, five of us in a Megamid. Snowed/sleeted until about 11:00 AM, but then cleared up. Went up the north side of Cashmere (crampons would have been nice) and descended the west ridge.

Dustin_B
oops but back on topic (and so I don't seem like a total sprayer ), I just did some non-climbing gear related activities this weekend: sharpened crampons, ice axes, etc. waterproofed boots, gear shopping, etc. Now I'm ready for something....
