EWolfe Posted September 26, 2005 Posted September 26, 2005 Auto-resize would be nice, for photos and links. Don't know how feasible that is. Quote
marylou Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Clicking the "Active Topics" button (or surfing back to where you clicked it) should not be part of flood control. I hate that. Quote
layton Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 jon, will the new system make me chicken pot pie? Quote
sobo Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 When performing searches, and you get your results, and click on one and find it's not what you wanted, so you want to go back to the results page. So you click the "Back" button, it says, "POST DATA" and stuff, so you click "OK" and hit the "Back" button again, it dumps you out of all the results and puts you back at the search page. That sucks. Â Is there a way that it can just go back to the results page so you don't have to re-type all the search parameters and start over? Quote
olyclimber Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 can we have some sort of a system for ranking people? Sort of like the thread ranking system, but for people. Olyclimber would be 10 stars, CobraCommander would be like 7.5, minx would be 6.4, etc. Quote
Fejas Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 I want to see titties. bitches!!! TITTIES!!! Quote
Harry_Pi Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 Good morning Americans! Â I would like to see Nascar forum and wrestling forum. Oh forgot, this is climbing website, at least the wrestlers use a rope to climb on. Thank you for allow me to post. Quote
chris Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 The Search function needs some serious help. Â For starters, the default is posts newer than 1 week. I think most of us use it to check posts a lot older than that, and its annoying to have to fiddle with the dates. Â 2nd. There's no way to fine tune the search to just the initial posts. For example, if I type in "Triple Couloir" as a search, the Search engine will not only show me every intitial post with "triple couloir" mentioned, it will also show me every RESPONSE to that post. This is a real drag, especially so when the search is much broader - like trying to only find "Liberty Ridge" trip reports. Â Third - it was mentioned above - there's not way to return to the Search Results! If you click on the back button on your browser, it automatically resets the Search engine, and now you have to start all over again at the beginning. Â Please improve the Search function! Quote

klenke Posted November 1, 2005 Posted November 1, 2005 Okay, I've just about had enough of this message when refreshing too quickly using the "view recent posts" button: Â You cannot make another search at this time. Please try again in a few minutes. Â Please use your back button to return to the previous page. Â What is the reason for this delay? Further, you don't have to wait "a few minutes" but only about five seconds, but that is not my main complaint. Â When I am viewing the list of recent posts and I open a post in the list then hit the back button too quickly (say because I don't want to view that thread after all), it gives me that crappy message above. I should be able to go back to the list unencumbered. Irksome, it is. Yes. Quote

kurthicks Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 It would be cool to have a link when you view someone's profile that said "Show all this user's TRs." Like an advanced "show all this user's posts" function. Â That way if you knew that that person did a specific route, writes good TRs, etc, you can find them easily. Quote
TrogdortheBurninator Posted December 14, 2005 Posted December 14, 2005 It seems that there is a ton of good ice conditions info on the board right now. It would be cool if there were some way to make a master thread sublisted by region and even specific climb. Quote

ketch Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 In the quick and easy stuff. How about one more category in the photo gallery such that folks that want to post random junk have a place to stick it. That way we don't have to sort through off topic pics to see what we are really looking for. Quote
arentz Posted December 20, 2005 Posted December 20, 2005 I would like to see a "conditions" section in the ice climbing forum. There is a website, neice.com, that i used to use back east. They did a great job with this. Just updated contditions reports seperated by location (lworth, baker, snoqualmie, rainier, etc.) . No spray. I be happy to bring a camera and contribute during the winter months, and It would make those long drives worth it more of the time. Â arentz Quote
