Fairweather Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 This photo has changed my mind. GW is just too feminine to get my vote.... Hey! Is that Chirac back in the access tube.. kneeling behind Mr Kerry? Quote
Fairweather Posted July 28, 2004 Author Posted July 28, 2004 That's John Kerry yesterday getting a private tour of NASA facilities. The photo "wasn't supposed to be released to the public" and the Kerry folks are crying foul! (ala the Michael Dukakis riding the tank photo back in '88.) Quote
rbw1966 Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 At least Kerry can ride a bicycle without falling off. Quote
minx Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 At least Kerry can ride a bicycle without falling off. Â at least kerry can string together more than 3 multisyllabic words in a sentence. Quote
cj001f Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 at least kerry can string together more than 3 multisyllabic words in a sentence. Damn elitist liberals Quote
Fairweather Posted July 28, 2004 Author Posted July 28, 2004 At least Kerry can ride a bicycle without falling off. Â Looks like you're uninformed about your man's bicycle prowess: http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselections/nation/president/2004-05-02-kerry-bike_x.htm Quote
Fairweather Posted July 28, 2004 Author Posted July 28, 2004 Source is (where else?) Fox News. Â Here you go, Catbird. From The Boston Herald: Â Obviously, the FOX picture was doctored. Â Â Also see virtually all other major newspapers 7/27 and 7/28. Quote
b-rock Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 Bush fell off a Segway, a device that balances for you. Quote
rbw1966 Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 I stand corrected Fairweather. Thank you. The scoreboard still tilts towards Kerry's prowess on the bike. I just read an article yesterday about Bush falling off his bike again. Â I wish I got as much vacation time as Bush. Quote
iain Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 I don't see that photo as detrimental. A candidate who considers space exploration and atmospheric research important is a candidate for whom I'd consider giving my vote. On the other hand, that photo of Bush in the flight deck outfit just makes him look even more out of his element. What a tool. Quote
bunglehead Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 Not even mentioning the fact that he was reportedly absent for part of his service in the National Guard. Quote
glacier Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 Like anyone could look good wearing a tyvek bunny suit. Quote
selkirk Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 You know Fairweather, Bush in the flight suit is much more Lets pretend i'm really macho / Dukakis-on-the-tank-esque then Kerry in some goofy clean room suit at NASA. Quote
rbw1966 Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 A candidate who considers space exploration and atmospheric research important is a candidate for whom I'd consider giving my vote. Â I take it you are going with Bush then and his Man on Mars agenda? Quote
fenderfour Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 They don't show you what was in that little "space tube" do they? Quote
Hanger Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 To think that these two are the "best" that we have as our presidential candidates...is just sad Quote
selkirk Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 What, you don't like Tweedle Dee, and Tweedle Macho? Quote
bunglehead Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 To think that these two are the "best" that we have as our presidential candidates...is just sad   Agreed. Quote
Ursa_Eagle Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 Fairweather, have you ever gone biking in Mass? Any time spent on a bike in Mass was time you were gambling with your life. Any future prez who'll bike in Mass is OK in my books. That's much more of a risk than W has ever taken... Quote
