mtn_mouse Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 If I am going to post more, we need a new "Climbing in the Blue Mountains" forum. The Blues are part of the cascades (I can see rainier from here). However, the peaks are boring and climbing would have to be limited to trees. Maybe Alpine K could moderate it. Quote
Fejas Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 You can't see Rainier form the blues... and there is a lot of hard basalt in the bluses... Quote

Climb the highest peak, Oregon Butte (6000+) and look west on a clear day. Rainier is clearly visible. And as far as rock climbing, you would have to go to the wallowas or elkhorns mostly. Howcome hardly anyone posts for the wallowas?? They are great. Quote
Dru Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 why not start a new hate on Dru forum that i can read but not post to Quote
mtn_mouse Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Nobody hates you Dru. They are just jealous! Quote
Off_White Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Because it would be too much work for the moderators to try and keep it confined to just the one forum, Dru. Quote

It's a quote from Old Skool. Despite my belief that the movie was going to be the suck, it was hilarious! I'd normally be up for the show, but an old friend is in town and we are going to spend Saturday catching up with other old friends. Cheers! Quote
