  1. Yes it sucks. The site software has problems, and there isn't a fix right now.
  2. Koch Fence Division
  3. Just a guess, but I'd figure what was acceptable for males in positions of power in 17whatever is different than these times. In 17whatever the whole Clinton thing wouldn't have made it into circulation. Trying to compare Clinton to Cain? Cain fucked 5,000 employees and Clinton? Hard to say but I bet Cain's got him beat by a couple miles.

  5. I don't care if it impinges first amendment rights these things should be outlawed Not really but sort of NSFW Ick
  6. Good point Off, Muir on Saturday is 50 pages and worth preserving. I'm afraid this thread doesn't live up to those standards. Eventually I'm going to have to lock this thread
  7. I do know education is a big chunk. The State has to offer competitive wage rates for employees. From what I hear, compared to national wage rates, they do that. If they cut pay folks jump ship and it becomes hard to find replacements. Like I said lots of bad alternatives.
  8. I think the Governor has nothing but bad options. The state's running out of money/credit. Cutting education and other services will screw over a lot of people. Yeah they will cut employees and services no matter what, but they can only cut so many without causing a revolt. To generate revenue they have to get it somewhere. State Income Tax is off the table, so now they're back to raising sales tax. Yes Sales tax is regressive. The governor is putting it up for a vote. I don't really care for any option but we have to pick one. Don't worry if the hype is correct about the Mayan it'll only suck for the next 12 months [img:center]http://www.december2012endofworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2012-the-end-of-the-world-291x300.jpg[/img]
  9. I'm thinking the woman who have made statements about Cain are a fraction of the real number. Apparently he is successful running Godfathers, but nice guy? Nope
  10. Possibly. Romney seems like the eventual contender, but there are tons of interviews where he contradicts himself about his opinions on abortion and climate change. Gingrich has a lot of baggage too.
  11. Either now or in the recent past his campaign backers have questioned him. "So how many chicks should we expect to see making public statements about you?" "We don't need an exact number Herman; 20, 50, 100, more?"
  12. Cool pictures. I was thinking about that movie while reading your report
  13. Ya'll got 5-months to submit your written papers to Spray. I'm looking forward to some quality research from the crack CC Research Team. The conference is in July of 2012 and scheduling doesn't allow last second research. [img:center]http://on-climate.com/files/2011/06/cigLogo.gif[/img] Climate Conference 2012
  14. Umm Fairweather this is Spray http://www.skepticalscience.com/print.php?n=1140 Snips Scientists produce papers and submit them for review by other qualified scientists. A review identifies problems, assumptions, and errors in logic. This study produces results falling within the range of other estimates. Sorry no smoking gun. It is the kind of news folks in the oil industry will be quick to advertise and skew.

  17. I'd like to post on this important thread. Did somebody mention gas and science? [video:youtube]
  18. Washington State Population 2010 US Census State Population 1990: 5 million residents 2010: 6.72 million residents 2010 State population is 134% of state population in 1990 Using Fairweathers numbers for Washington State workers 1990: 80309 workers 2010: 109937 workers 2010 Washington State employees are 137% of the numbers in 1990 Given the two numbers there's a difference of 4%. If you give the numbers a 5% margin of error the numbers are essentially the same. I agree with Oly, you might be able to make a point if you provided numbers on salaries and accounted for inflation...
  19. Yeah, I knew the constitution might be a sticky point. As long as Ozzy is the chief adviser I'm cool with that.
  20. No to Eddy and Ted. On the other hand Ozzy wouldn't have to spend any campaign funds to get my vote. [img:center]http://blogs.coventrytelegraph.net/passtheremote/Ozzy%20Osbourne%20oct%202011.jpg[/img]
  21. I think the big R knows the best they can come up with this time is Romney. To keep inquisitive minds off the ball they keep introducing nutjobs to take the heat till the last minute.
