  1. You have to elaborate. Support them how? How do you support a minority interest in a country that supports terrorists? Drop leaflets? Have them open a Starbucks? I'm curious.
  2. So you mean giving them weapons and training them to use them, as well as operating other clandestine operations? Didn't we try this once with...... god the name seems to be escaping me.... hmmmmmmmmm...... oh shit I remember his name, Saddam Hussein!
  3. Not only is this stardard politics, Gary, this is standard business practice, it goes on in my field and most likely yours, claims to incorrect or falsified data, actually this is standard life. "Hey if you don't eat carbs you will lose wieght!" "Holy fucking shit I'll stop eating bread right now!" And some obese doctor who died of a heart attack is hailed by as a hero by millions, including hundreds of executives in the food industry, so they can bring you thinks like low carb beef jerky. Two years later, numerous studies show that the decrease in carbohydrates leads to a number of serious conditions like calcium leaching from bones and increase in heart disease. Not to mention that the average American's weight has increased. So I don't know why this headline is so noteworthy, and if this is coming as some sort of revelation to some of you then let me to be the first to say WELCOME TO PLANET EARTH! My point is that terrorism isn't caused by one person and it's not one person's to solve, it's a global problem that requires a global solution with some unfortunate sacrifices, which apparently some people in this thread aren't willing to make from the comfort of their desk.
  4. How else are you going to battle it?
  5. Fido's first post was classic, but now it is gone
  6. Chuck, I think that was the first statement you have made in this thread that didn't include the word 'Iraq'. Congratulations.
  7. I think what you people need to do is start looking at things with a more open mind and start accepting things as they are and not how they support your agenda. I'm not a Bush supporter, I didn't vote for him and I'm not going to vote for him in this upcoming election. I'm not voting for him because I think he is an idiot and has not done anything about some pressing domestic issues, like health care and education. I also believe that our President should have a military background, something Bush didn't take very seriously. What is going on in Iraq is so complicated I don't even want to discuss it. On 9/11 we were attacked, not for what W did, actually I'm not exactly sure why, Bin Laden says because our military being in Saudi Arabia, who BTW had no problem bying F-15s from us and having us train their pilots which included one of their princes'. Fact is 9/11 is a culmination of a lot of things, possibly including what at the time seemed like small mistakes by various administrations. You can point fingers at whomever you damn well please as to who's fault all of this is, but I think it is pretty hard to point the finger at one administration saying that they are responsible for a global problem that is everyone's problem.
  8. JoshK, EMFA. The terror report that you guys are arguing about, and obviously don't understand, covers the entire world, number of attacks, number injured, number killed, not just Americans. Someone decides to blow up a pizza parlor in Israel, whether there are Americans there or not, it's on the terror report. It includes these Saudi idiots who are blowing up their own people. So the arguement that you are all making, just to remind you, is that Bush is responsible for the global increase in terrorism. Does that really seem fair? I'm not voting for him, just pointing it out.
  9. Of course a small factoid that all of you have cleverly decided to leave out is that the terror report statistics covered THE WHOLE FUCKING WORLD!
  10. Or getting a bunch of friends together and going around town deadlifting/moving Ford Fiestas and other compact vehicles.
  11. More deadlifts, obviously.
  12. Dru, you know who Ahmed Ressam is?
  13. This isn't about Iraq, Chuck. This is about a group of people who are hellbent on killing us and anyone who sides with us. They are developing chemical and biological weapons and plan on using them. They are going to attack our infrasture, blowing up roads and bridges and buildings. They are going to try and take down our power grids and contaminate our water. They are going to try and take down the internet. This is a war without any clearly defined rules and most likely without any. Remember Daniel Pearl, where was the Geneva convention when he was murdered? And all of the sudden people expect us to treat his killer humanely. Fuck that, this guy was behind the killing of thousands of completely innocent people. Do whatever it takes to get the information out of him that prevents the killing of more innocent people.
  14. Well Bush can only be in office for, what, 5 more years. So who are we going to blame after that?

    Photo Caption Contest

"Distel32, an aspiring action photographer, using his same trademark techniques as his bouldering photos like ignoring the law of thirds, cathes Pub Club at it's peak of excitment. Righteous!"
  16. It was said from the beginning that this will be a very long war. Who knows how many high profile attacks have been thwarted. Get a clue.

    Baghdad Today

I don't care that we had to pay for the stadium but $7.50 for a beer is downright wrong. Thank god Pyramid is next door.
  18. I've been doing the Core Performance book routine for a little bit now, and while some of the exercises look completely rediculous, you can really feel them. One thing I've read recently about working abs is that you hit the muscles better if you are stretched out, so doing crunches on a ball versus on the ground squished up, or do side situps with your leg extended versus in fetal. Seems to make sense since you are getting a longer range of motion.
  19. We're on a mission from god!
  20. This needs to go into the FAQ but I just wanted to clear up some confusion that seems to be reoccuring. If for some reason you can't login, it's your fault not ours. Remember that when you send us a support email, we have gotten some nasty ones including conspiracy theories. Also remember you aren't paying to use this, and we aren't being paid to help you, we aren't the Dell Support dudes here for you to yell at. We are more then happy to help, but you need to include helpful information in your email, like your login name, the email you used for registration, etc. Additionally if you have registered previously we would like you to use the same registration. If you can't find it follow the same rules as above. There are some people who will register, post a bunch, lose the information or forget password, and then register a new one. Just use the feedback link at the bottom of this page and have us locate your login info. Lastly, and this may sound rediculous, but we have been accused of sending spam email to you. Let it be clear we will probably never email you. If you are getting spam I'm sorry, I sympathize, I get like 100 a day, but it ain't our fault. If you want to cut down on your spam here are some easy tips 1. don't post your email anywhere that is viewable to the web 2. don't respond kindly to spam email to take you off their list, because guess what, not only will they not take you off, they will sell the fact that your email is active to other people 3. if you are using microsoft outlook etc. don't use the preview pane, spammers use unique images to find out if your account is active. Hope this help.
