Guns run out of bullets, baseball bats don't. Nothing says I'm going to play tee ball with your head than a baseball bat.

Yeah Dave, that is correct.

Lammy, there is a certain region of this world were people can't pronounce the letter L, and instead say the letter R. You dig? Yes your profile can be read if you have it set to show your profile to non registered users.

I need to add a few things. If you get an email from us that is in Engrish, it's most likely not from us. Because we are getting so much spam ourselves, we are going to change our own email addresses, and we might post them in a way so you know it is from us but some spambot won't be able to figure it out. Secondly, and I cannot stress this enough, I HIGHLY discourage you from posting your email address and even cell phone numbers. You will get spammed to death if you do this. If you do try to do it in a way that someone can figure it out but not a computer searching the internet. Obviously your PMs are safe from spambots. Jon

We make every effort to protect our users from spam and viruses here, but unfortunately there are some things that are beyond our control. As many of you know there are things called Spambots that scour the internet looking for email addresses to spam. In addition to spam, there are people's computers who are infected with email that send out viruses with using fake email addresses. In this instance it looks like we have a little something of both. There is an email being sent out from somewhere (NOT US), pretending to be us warning you about a virus. It is HIGHLY possible that these people have taken your emails that you have posted at you own will and sent this email to you, trying to fool you. Here is the email: Subject: E-mail account security warning. Dear user, the management of Cascadeclimbers.com mailing system wants to let you know that, We warn you about some attacks on your e-mail account. Your computer may contain viruses, in order to keep your computer and e-mail account safe, please, follow the instructions. Please, read the attach for further details. The Management, The Cascadeclimbers.com team http://www.cascadeclimbers.com If you see this email erase it, and DO NOT OPEN THE ATTACHMENT. This email is NOT from us, I'm not sure where it is from but it is not being sent out by us. Unfortunately there is little we can do about this, complaining to the ISP will get us nowhere because this is such a widespread problem. If you have any questions about this please PM me or Tim. Groups like the ALPS has it's place, even if their ideas are a bit more "radical" than we would like (I must admit I know nothing about them except hearsay) because they are fighting to protect wilderness. Just remember there are other groups at the other end of the spectrum trying to dip their dirtly little paws in it and extract everything they can out of it. The problem is, if you continue to restrict access to a number of places the people just go somewhere else, and it creates problems at other areas. I don't think there are many areas in Washington that go unmanaged so this is problematic.

It's pretty obvious that they didn't want anyone from the website there because this is being posted the day of the meeting.

...and likely yours... that is why he is a PRO CYCLIST! No I didn't mean beat your ass on the bike, I mean just beat your ass in general. Bronco you better not be poking fun at me fool! If I can power clean 225 I'm pretty sure I can dead lift it.

And while you are spraying away he and his skinny arms are off training in the Alps. Harpell I'm sure he'd beat your ass.

Are you kidding? He won Romandie for the second year in a row.

The sponsorship ends at the end of racing season. Rumorville says that there are companies fighting to get this sponsorship, including NASCAR, AMD, and Barry Floor. 10 million a year for a sports team with one of the most incredible athletes to grace the earth is a fucking steal!

The emoticons "should" be working now for those of you who are having problems, if it's still not working reply in the thread about it.

You should try to get a prescription if you can, this is what I have been given in the past and I didn't get infected. http://www.drugstore.com/qxdSilvadene_333181_sespider/silvadene/silvadene.htm

Anybody been up there in the past week or so?

I was at Supergo yesterday, and I couldn't help the huge selection of body armor they had there for all you freaks who like to chuck your meat off that shit. If you have a area larger than your palm you need to go see a doctor and have them give clean it and give you some high strength antibiotic cream. I once had a turf burn from soccer than ran all the way on the side of my leg and having it cleaned was by far the most painful thing I've ever experienced, but you have to get it done and get the cream, other wise it will take forever to heal and it most likely will get infected. I have a friend who was literally hours away from dying because of a staff infection due to a turf burn so this isn't something to take lightly.

I still fondly remember the day when Tim and I came up with the idea for cc.com, we were driving up to Cascade Pass for a few days of climbing, and for some reason we started tossing around the idea of starting a community climbing website. We figured it might get some traffic since it was filling a void, but who really knew, but it would be fun to do nonetheless. Tim and I can be some of the most unserious people you can ever meet and get some pretty crazy ideas and we joke around a lot. We imagined the day when cc.com would have a large server farm, obviously with servers named after porn stars. In the coming weeks we will be one step closer to that dream. Due to the website popularity and large volume of traffic we are going to have to move the website to a dedicated server, yes our very own server. It will provide us with a huge amount of space, so we will be increasing the amount of space for the photo gallery, and will be able to do some other cool things. It's actually kind of exciting. As you can imagine something like this is very expensive to do, talking thousands of dollars more per year. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors this shouldn't be too much of a problem, but it still is a lot of money and there is a lot we want to do. So if you have been using the website for a while and appreciate it for any number of reasons, whether it is to screw off at work arguing about politics, get beta, read stories, sell gear, or to meet climbing partners, now is a good time to make a contribution.
