    this s ucks...

Here's to a speedy recovery and rehab for the upcoming climbing season! Cheers!
  4. After applying the glue and patch. I would apply even pressure over that section of jacket for about 30 minutes to make sure all surfaces adhere well.
  5. Hot wax absorbs into the bases of the skis better than rub on and will then last longer in the base of the ski. As Maine-iac said you should scrap and then I would recommend using a stiff nylon or soft Copper wax brush to remove wax residue from the base to not transfer it onto the skin's glue. You will get better glide and pick up less dirt, pine pitch, etc.. Most of the rub on waxes are fine as long as you rub in well as most don't last very long on the base of the skis in average to abrasive snow conditions. Especially good are any of the liquid products.
  6. I am crossing my fingers and toes! But here is an interesting blog from one of the top in his profession: http://cliffmass.blogspot.com/ . He is thinking by Wednesday the forcasters will have some better weather models to look at.
  7. Congrats Dan and Rolf! Picked a nice weather window for the climb.
  8. Temperature and what kind of soft shell jacket. There are so many different fabrications of Schoeller: WB-400, which is a bonded fabric, Soft Shell 3XDRY, and on and on.
  9. :kisss: Sweet! Where's the white stuff?
  10. Hmmmmm! Got snow.......wow.
  11. Northwest - I can't handle you posting anymore pics from Rogers. I've been having heart palpitations and night sweats since I first saw your posts. This is due inpart to the lack of snow, so far, in the northwest. Okay - anyone for bumping this to spray! I have 4 - 5 days off coming up in 10 days. So, if not enough NW snow I'll be heading up there!
  12. 8812 bowl is looking sweet - I'll be dreaming of skiing tonight! Thanks for the great pics

    Whirled peas?

+1 more! Before Christmas would be exceptional.....hope I am on the nice list
  14. The picture says it all: she looks very happy and content. I hope you get somewhere with your senator. Hugs to you both!
  15. Yep! I will be there on Sunday around 10:00ish - possibly Sunshine wall. I'll be the gal with long strawberry blonde hair with all the old school gear.
  16. Partner found! Thanks.
  17. Heading back from Montana a bit earlier than expected.....so, I am hoping to get out climbing on or more of these days. Leavenworth, Vantage, Tieton, suggestions. Or if you are thinking about skiing - I would be game. PM me if interested!
  18. Pics say it all - looks like you guys had some good conditions!
  19. Yes, I am going to play, but will spray when I can. West Yellowstone and Big Sky! My folks were a bit shagrined but at least I am consistant with that disappointment over years of practice. Well, I for one am glad you decided to put yourself in the doghouse to come to Rope-Up Enjoy! Teresa
  20. Last day at work until December 1st. So, tonight I will be tipping back some Black Butte Porters while I am backing for my trip to Montana! Yahoo.....just hope it snows some more or I maybe coming back early.
  21. Looking to go cragging on Friday. I'll be available to start around 10:30ish. Hopefully the weather will cooperate with my plans. Haven't done very much leading lately but am a dependable belayer, etc. and can follow up to 5.9 or 5.10.
  22. TG, These boots would likely be about the right size for you. She usually wears an 8 1/2, and they were a bit big. She seems to wear between a 39 and 40, but I'm more sure of the US size she wears. WC, I would like to take them but would like to try them on! I live in Leavenworth but maybe over for a day or two during Thanksgiving. Will you be around? Teresa
  23. Layton, Great description of the IT band, etc.. The muscle imbalance is common among athletes and mine was due to biking biomechanical issues. I would recommend Gua-Sha! Evil foam roller X 10! But it works.
  24. WC, I maybe very interested! What European size is your gf? I wear a 8.5-9 women's in most things. Thanks!
