  1. Hmmmmm! Got snow.......wow.
  2. Northwest - I can't handle you posting anymore pics from Rogers. I've been having heart palpitations and night sweats since I first saw your posts. This is due inpart to the lack of snow, so far, in the northwest. Okay - anyone for bumping this to spray! I have 4 - 5 days off coming up in 10 days. So, if not enough NW snow I'll be heading up there!
  3. 8812 bowl is looking sweet - I'll be dreaming of skiing tonight! Thanks for the great pics

    Whirled peas?

+1 more! Before Christmas would be exceptional.....hope I am on the nice list
  5. The picture says it all: she looks very happy and content. I hope you get somewhere with your senator. Hugs to you both!
  6. Yep! I will be there on Sunday around 10:00ish - possibly Sunshine wall. I'll be the gal with long strawberry blonde hair with all the old school gear.
  7. Partner found! Thanks.
  8. Heading back from Montana a bit earlier than expected.....so, I am hoping to get out climbing on or more of these days. Leavenworth, Vantage, Tieton, suggestions. Or if you are thinking about skiing - I would be game. PM me if interested!
  9. Pics say it all - looks like you guys had some good conditions!
  10. Yes, I am going to play, but will spray when I can. West Yellowstone and Big Sky! My folks were a bit shagrined but at least I am consistant with that disappointment over years of practice. Well, I for one am glad you decided to put yourself in the doghouse to come to Rope-Up Enjoy! Teresa
  11. Last day at work until December 1st. So, tonight I will be tipping back some Black Butte Porters while I am backing for my trip to Montana! Yahoo.....just hope it snows some more or I maybe coming back early.
  12. Looking to go cragging on Friday. I'll be available to start around 10:30ish. Hopefully the weather will cooperate with my plans. Haven't done very much leading lately but am a dependable belayer, etc. and can follow up to 5.9 or 5.10.
  13. Layton, Great description of the IT band, etc.. The muscle imbalance is common among athletes and mine was due to biking biomechanical issues. I would recommend Gua-Sha! Evil foam roller X 10! But it works.
  14. I would recommend going to a physical therapist who works with athletes. A PT would be able to determine what is causing your IT band to be aggravated. For myself, I try to stretch my hamstrings and hips but use a foam roller, I call it the "evil foam roller", to roll out my IT band. It hurts like heck but really keeps things moving. Did the ortho give you any advice about time or biomechanical issues?
  15. Fair enough. Plenty of folks don't have the taste for the single malt. But don't tell me you're a "Baileys man." Bailey's and cocoa are great for those backcountry ski trips - though a snifter of whiskey is lighter!
  16. Walked around the corner to the kitchen for another BB Porter, and what did I find? We had an open house last night for our new office location. Wally, the office manager, had brought out the leftover wine offerings. I'm into a charming glass of Goose Ridge 2005 Cab. It's not entirely tantalizing, yet I'm amused by its presumption. Sobo, what other reds do you have to offer?
  17. Ya think he will change jobs? Wonder how they retrieved the hand?

  19. I was there for 6 months and in India information seems to be conflicting. One should have a flexible schedual. Though, saw some increadible places and stayed with some very nice people. Love to go back and ski in Himachal Pradesh!
  20. Have to ask as I was in India, 20 years ago now, but how was the flight from DEL to SXR. I only took one flight from Kulu to Manli - delayed from DEL due to "technical" difficulties and then as they started the engines up a guy held up a fire extinguisher. I was to sick at the time but really laughed later! You were in a very beautiful area. Great skiing up there! Did you do a bit of exploring?
  21. Don't Want to Miss A Thing - Aerosmith 100 years - Five for Fighting

:kisss: Only in jest! Perhaps I know through experience with a one piece long underwear that I wore ice climbing in Canada, 15 years ago, it was cold!!

Or Sobo with enough beans in you, could keep you warm for a full day of climbing!
