I was at the Resort with my family. Not really freshiezone though the powder was nice so I can't really answer your questions if you're wanting bc info. Sorry. As for the resort, no road problems getting there or down at all. They were really getting dumped on in the afternoon when we left. Some spots off the Outback chair were wind blown powder and ice which made it interesting coupled with 30+ mph winds. Summit and NW were closed. I heard the wind at the summit gusted to 60 at one point, but you couldn't even see the lift the conditions were so bad. After lunchtime over on the Skyline chair, all the tracks kept getting covered, but after the conditions made it impossible to see it was time to call it a day.

I was up on Mt. B today. Snowed all day long! Windy though. White out at times. Hope tomorrow's better.

I wonder if the Fish & Chips shop has anything to do with it. If so, he's not only a cool cat, but a smart cat, too!

No slugs here. Up and getting ready to hit the slopes. Only 1 1/2 inches of new snow, but that's better than rain!

I had never seen the beginning of Meet Joe Black before and wish I hadn't now. Alien and Seven I totally agree with. And Misery, just thinking about that scene gives me the shivers. That movie gave me so many nightmares.

Thanks Timmy. I saw both of those stores on our way in this afternoon, but I'm going to wait and hit Redpoint on our way home Thursday. I saw it as we drove through the intersection in Terreborne, but the store was closed. I checked their website, and they sell the harness I want and probably have everything else on the gear list I need to get.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the stealth training suggestions. The no-longer-stealth training commences tomorrow. Our anniversary was yesterday and I gave him the gift certificate along with the book Freedom in the Hills. We were at Timberline and you should have seen the way he looked at the mountain once he knew he'd be climbing it. That was my present He's so excited and already talking about other climbs he wants to do after Hood.

My cats go insane over wheat grass. We grow it for them, and a call of 'grass, grass' sets off fits of feline hysteria. One time in our old house, they somehow climbed up on top the fridge, knocked the plant off and dragged it all over. They sure had a fun time from the looks of things, though the clean up wasn't so fun for me.

A smackdown would be fun to see, but I'm taking Mr. rmncwrtr to Timberline Lodge today for a couple days to celebrate our anniversary and ski. I showed him the calendar and he thought you did a fantastic job, Tvash!
