There are real tents that weigh less than 3 pounds. Might be worth it if the weather turns wet. I've seen streams running under the floor of my tent - I'd much rather have water under a floor than soaking all my stuff.

Both situations would be fine for toproping in most situations. The thickness of your cordelette and slings might make one have a different opinion.

I remember hearing somewhere that there is a cap on what you can sue for too - $250,000 rings a bell for some reason. Which is a major rip off.

I've got a pair of public enemies - good for somethings, not for others. They're too soft to shread steep bumps. If you're going to use them pretty much only in the park - they're good, All-mountain - maybe not as good.

Who knew there were so many wasps in Icicle Canyon. Every place I went I saw swarms of wasps all over the cracks - it looked like they really liked the cruxes too. Is this typical this time of year - I guess I never knew it was this bad??

Locals call it the 'Burque. Spoken as Burrrr-Kay. The ski area is Sandia Peak Ski area and, in short, sucks. I've never climbed in the Sandias, but now that I don't live there, I'd like to go back and climb there a bit (probably just for a bit though).

Again, I must say Slayer - they all have ass kicking beats. Just a few that fit this situation: Here Comes the Pain War Ensemble Spill the Blood I Hate You Or, they make good climbing songs...

I'd say Slayer has the best fighting songs ever...

My doc is telling me a couple/few weeks for recovery. I'd prefer not to blow 2 months of good climbing weather, but it sounds like recovery varies - probably on how messed up the knee is in the first place. Thanks.

Lead it. It's much funner that way. Be smart and protect often if it makes you feel more relaxed. The moves aren't hard - it's probably mental cruxing.
