Let's get out this weekend. Was thinking 11worth, but might be too HOT. Forecast for North Bend area looks good, or somewhere's else.
Before my knee gets the chop!
Is it worth getting the orthroscopic surgery? Anyone have any words of advice?
The technical term is Orthroscopic Lateral Menisectomy - I scheduled this for next week thinking there's no solution other than surgery.
Thanks for any stories or info.
I'm with dmuja - no bolts. That big block has seen plenty of belays already and it hasn't come down. If you link the last two crack pitches, I think you might not have much of a choice of belays (if you want to get on flatter ground anyway) - from what I remember.
I'd say it's a failing ball joint. Had the same situation and similar sounds about a year ago with my subaru. Cheaper to get it fixed before the assembly becomes completely loose.
Saw some quickies in the "Weekend Rock". Looked like mostly single pitch trad and sport mixed. I think there was a mention of needing a conoe or boat to reach the starts. Probably enough routes in this book for a day's worth.
Agreed.
Sounds like he had the opportunity to roll the take-off to feel how it would kick him.
I can remember backing off hits in the park many times because of the flat looking landings.
Heard about this the other day - what a farcking arsshole. The guy's got nothing better to do than waste tax payer money on a lawsuit such as this, and ruin a few lives while he's at it.
We didn't have cable when I was a kid, so I'd have to watch those shows at my friends' houses - what a treat it was. Airwolf, Knight Rider, and especially the A-Team were the baddest shows ever. Ever.
Fight the ticket. You probably don't even have to go to the actual court - you can probably right a letter to the court (what I did anyway). I got 3 tickets at once on 405 in Kirkland - got out of all of them this way. Just lie too, if it is believable and you think it will help.
