  1. Speaking of warmer days...
  2. Everyone knows alcohol is not a drug. Neither is pot anymore, but only in WA and CO.
  3. Nothing wrong with some fried rooster on the table. We don't want to be discriminatory, ya know. Gobble gobble till I wobble & waddle!
  4. Ivan, you forgot the #1 tell tale sign it's winter... IT"S FUK'N RAINING EVERY FUK'N DAY!
  5. Could this be the turning point for the distressed housing market in WA? All the hippies will be bee lining it to purchase homes here, no???
  6. They got the first black prez elected, twice. Maybe in a roundabout way, but, still. If GDub was not such an idiot (yes, it takes one to know one) it prolly wouldn't have happened.
  7. If only the guys I car pool to work with could adhere to the safe part. These rednecks think this is the Baja, appearantly ...
  8. A buddy of mine, who is widely known as the best brewer around (PHD in microbiology, among other credentials) already made a 420 brown ale a few years back. Like all his beers, it was awesome.
  9. And, 3, 2, 1... Hang on. Let the Troll Patrol, patroll the troll. Er, sorry, welcome to CC.com. I'm sure you will find all the partners you need and lots of great information. You just might have to sift through a lot of heckling and potential defamation for posting such a titillating first post. I'm just trying to forewarn you... There seems to be a certain lack of credulity when a "female" "newbie" wants to find partners. Don't let that dissuade you. All the nut jobs here tend to be pretty ok if you ever do get to tie in with them. Just watch out for the guys with the higher post count. They are the real addicts here, always looking for a new troll to sociomedia-ambush before you can hear a biner snap shut. ; ) Meantime, carry on and good luck. I'd offer to climb but I don't see where you are located and I'm pretty much too busy and unmotivated to actually climb myself.
  10. Unless you find yourself "carcerated".
  11. Well, this is Merica, so you are free to leave anytime...
  12. They only test active not the metabolite tht hangs around for a month, but for heavy users it sounds like that's not an accurate measure of sobriety. Seattle Weekly had a good article: http://blogs.seattleweekly.com/dailyweekly/2012/03/the_science_behind_stoned_driv.php The SPD, however, says you have to fail a field sobriety test first before being asked for a blood sample. I guess if you refuse, they need probable cause and a warrant? If you can't pass a field sobriety test while high, you should prolly just quit, just sayin. Do they put out Doritos & Ben/Jerry's and see if you drool or what?
  13. I always assumed part of the crux for the law enforcement side if the issue is how you determine of a user is under the influence? Pretty easy to do with other drugs and alcohol, but since pot stays in your system so long, how are they going to determine if one is high or just have lingering thc in the blood system?

    Lame Duck Obama

    I'll bring the gravy.
  15. When I was a kid growing up in Utah, my parents acquired a se of the top secret "temple garmonts" from an ex-mormon. They always joked of dressing one of us kids up in them to go trick or treating around our very mormon neighborhood but figured that may be a bit too insulting so they just stuck with giving our next door neighbors 13 kids ice tea and other caffinated beverages. I'm sure they will burn in hell for those transgressions...
  16. My gear got heisted out from under the floor boards of my car out in front of my now wife's house. I had USAA auto and renters and they just asked me for a replacement cost and mailed a check under the rental policy with no documentation of any kind or questions asked. Must be some difference between the renters and HO policies from the sound of it or times have just changed. USAA is the shizzle. When my car got jacked, I got full replacement value for my old cd's that were also stolen. I had tried to sell all of them at the used cd shop and the guy offered me about $100, USAA gave me $1800, just for the crap I never listened to anyway. Of course, all that stuff is back "in" now. I bet they are a bit stricter on policy pay outs these days as this was back in the good ole days of yester-century...

    RATT

Brings me back to high school, cruising around in buddy's old orange Chevy pickup with the giant boombox sliding all over around every corner. We thought we were the shit. Course, we did get plenty of action so we musta been pretty cool with those mullets and the Quiet Riot/Ratt blaring out the windows.
  18. Dave's not here.
  19. Sorry, dude, that sucks...
  20. I guess there was a small part of me hoping the GOP would win so we could go back to blaming everything on them instead of the black guy.
  21. A shot of Cazadores chased w a gluten-free Windmer Ommission lager.
  22. That really sucks. Perhaps you have some insurance that may cover the loss? I know my homeowner policy kicked in for what my auto policy did not cover when my truck got smashed/grabbed many years ago. If you have comprehensive on your auto policy, that may cover some, or most. Sorry to hear it.
  23. He might just be the best Republican ever to run, as long as he can get Ivan as his running mate. sorry, i won't be available - my recent write-in campaign for superintendent of public instruction is likely to keep my occupied for a long, long time On the contrary, you gotta jump on that ladder sometime. Next thing you know, you'll be in the gubners mansion. It's only a matter of time from there. Just remember, you can see Oregon from your office (LOLP), at least half the year, "technically/legally" anyway.
